Worst experience ever. Dont come here not sure why the ratings are so high , possibly because its cheap. But the cheapness carries over to everything . Office is dirty, medication is just left out in the open, does not clean/wash his hands before touching the pets . Not even when injecting the pets. Really rude and deamining. Does not explain what is going on with your pet and if you ask questions he doesnt answer. At one point he literally pulled me to get out of the office while i was asking questions about the care and diagnosis of my pet. Just save your time and go somewhere else

Dr. Kim is very knowledgeable and extremely experienced with animals. We’ve been taking out dogs to him for the better part of 15 years. I know he doesn’t like to talk to many of his clients but you just have to get to know him a bit better. If you try to over explain the problem with your animals that’s when he looses it. He knows what’s wrong with them before he even examines them, most of the time. A lot of people will say, he’s not sociable but I get along with him just fine. I’ve had many conversations with him when I catch him outside taking a cigarette break. He’s a good man, a better doctor. Thank you Dr. Kim and your wife, love y’all.

I love Dr Kim he's a no nonsense guy. He took such good care of our baby. Definitely highly recommend.

I called to ask a simple question and that was if they trimmed bunny nails. The guy answered the phone and was like "bunnies? Why don't you do them yourself?" I couldn't believe he said that if you don't trim the nails just politely say no because he said this all like I was stupid the tone that he said it was like why would you even call and ask that.

Vet tried to keep my cat 4 days for spay. Never heard of that and charged for 100 a night. Told him we will not leave her overnight for days and we will seek out another vet for spay. Called us animal abuser. Who tf calls someone that and Is it animal abuse if you don't feel comfortable leaving your cat overnight for 4 days. ??♀️ don't come here and don't leave your pet here overnight. Honestly don't know how he has such good reviews, it's misleading.

I have been taking my pets to see Dr. Kim in the past 20 years. He knows what he’s doing. The only complain I have is he doesn’t like to socialize with human/owner. He talks to my dogs but not much to me. I usually stay aside and keep my mouth shut. He is willing to fix problems if he knows that you trust him or he can get cranky and refuse to provide service, I mean he won’t even want to speak further. I have seen that many times before. Dr. Kim replaced ligament of my dog’s leg using her own part and she’s able to run again, instead of putting artificial part on her fibula. He also neutered my potbelly pig 20 years ago when I could not find any vet capable to do it. Dr. Kim told me he could do it because he worked for a ranch and had experience in treating farm animals. Ever since then I trusted him and always take my pet to see him even though he doesn’t seem that “friendly” to me. As long as my pets get the treatment needed, I don’t need to be his friend ?

Great service. Dr. Kim is always willing to sit and talk to you, gets right to the point and doesn't charge for a lot of extra shots. Extra booster shots unnecessary, including rabies, like the human smallpox shot, only necessary for an infant or puppy.

You should never go here. The price is cheap, but an emergency dog gets the body price in advance and dies after about 2 days. I went to the same type and with the same problem. So this time, he brought me back to my house, fed me honey water, recovered after 3 days, and lived until I was 16. I still regret letting my first child die because I had no experience.

We love Dr. Kim we live an hour away and we still continue to bring our dogs to him. He’s a straight shooter which we appreciate. He’s not for everyone and that’s okay. I’m not for everyone either ? point is he’s a great veterinarian and if you take your pet to him trust that your pets in good hands.

Alpine should be SHUT DOWN! Ask him for a license. Horrible experiences at this place!! I don't even know if this guy has a license to treat animals. When my kittens went to him for neutering, he kept them for 5 days!! That is unheard of, they normally come home the same day or maybe stay "1" night. They were sick and traumatized when I picked them up. I had to take 1 of my kittens to another vet for antibiotics, she couldn't breathe, got URI from vet there. She wasn't sick when I dropped her off!! So many people have had BAD experiences and traumatized pets, I can't believe they're still open for business. He must have paid a lot of people to give him good reviews. Don't say that weren't warned. Here's your warning ⚠️

Dr Kim is a brilliant man. No bedside manner. But he will take care of your pet and tell the truth. Not un necessary charges. Like County Line.
