The couple here are so passionate about plants and it really shows in how much time they put into explaining each plant. They even delivered it to our home and showed us where is the optimal location to put each plant and how to care for them. They're the best!

Gene and Julia are a great team. It's obvious that this is a labor of love and they take great care of their customers. My wife and I showed up looking for some plants to decorate the front of our house. We know nothing about landscaping, and both Gene and Julia took their time to walk us through what we might need, asking us thoughtful questions and giving us great advice. Also, the prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be back.

EDIT: so i gave the plants to my mom and here are her thoughts—She LOVES the Hoya carnosa "freckles" splash. I think that's her favorite of them. She says the plants are good and healthy, and while I've kept more precise pricing secret because these are gifts, she thinks the prices are reasonable. She thinks the ceropegia monteroie was a good find, which is one i definitely would've overlooked were it not for Julia's help. And here's the rest of my original review about my experiences there:So Julia and Gene are extremely knowledgeable and helpful and they will take the time to help find you the perfect plants if you go in not knowing exactly what you want. They will also let you know how to take care of the plants once you bring them back and what kind of conditions are ideal for them. They put a lot of effort and patience (I spent well over an hour here) into helping me find some real gems! They even helped me load the plants into my car! They have a really nice variety of plants and even have a bunch of rarer ones as well! Parking is a little sparse, and mind the no parking sign since the only available parking is right there when you turn off the road, but it wasn't super busy when I went so it wasn't a problem. As a note, since it's all outdoors, their spring/summer availability will vary a lot from their winter availability, and for anyone trying to find hoyas, they mentioned they should be getting more of them in April.

My trunk is filled with new plants. I was in the neighborhood far from my home and found this establishment. I drove up and Gene was an amazing help. He told me what to buy and what not to buy and how to care for it and pick me out some plants and the price was unbelievably reasonable. I would drive all the way back to La Habra just to come here for landscape advice and plants. And payment is easy via Zelle, Venmo or cash. Beware, they are only open on the weekends.

I came here with my young daughters in an attempt to save some saplings. They didn't bat an eye when the kids were running around exploring the grounds. The gentleman that helped me was very knowledgeable and friendly. He gave me guidance on how to save the sayings and even re-potted them for free!

I cannot thank enough Gene for top-notch and the most patient customer service. I originally went for a banana tree that I can grow in my living room as a statement piece, I've seen reviews online from other sites that people buy them to grow indoors. He said I can't because they need full sun and should be grown outside. They have gigantic banana trees and birds of paradise that I really really really wanted to take home with, but I ended up taking a cast-iron plant and a snake plant. Gene was kind enough to drive me to a different lot so I can pick a perfectly variegated cast iron plant. (By the way, the cart ride was the most fun part!) I am very happy with my choice and I thank him so much that he cared for both the plant and the customer. The nursery isn't full of hundreds of plants or trees like some other nurseries, but they have unique and rare plants, and I would definitely go back for outdoor plants for my backyard project. And for sure I'll get that banana tree haha!

Mid-August 2020 I called to see if they had specific plants for my yard. Person who answered stated he was the new owner and previous had not manned it well. He didn't have the any of the about 10 plants I asked about. OK no problem saved me a trip.I decided to stop by in person in late March 2021, 7-months after that phone call. It's a small nursery, no big deal. Got greeted pretty quickly. However, WOW, this place is terrible. I've never seen weeds growing inside pots that I presume they are trying to sell? No prices, no plant names, tags, etc. Not sure how they stay in business. They had none of the plants I was looking for.

So we live about 1.5 miles away and like everyone else, you drive by and say you want drop by. Well we finely did and are glad we did. This couple bought this nursery about a year ago. We came around 3pm to buy some Pygmy palm trees. Their prices were competitive and even delivered for free for locals. Friendly. Local business. Why wouldn't you drop by? Don't delay, do it today.
