10612 Ventura Blvd, Studio City“Give this place a chance!!! Yes the rooms are small and minimalist but they give you everything you need! Awesome shower, comfy bed, mini fridge and microwave. The rooms are clean, friendly staff and daily housekeeping. The walkability here is fantastic!! A short 5 minute walk to Universal Studios shuttle that takes you to entrance. You won't want to trek the hill, take the shuttle! The coffee in the lobby is good. It doesn't have continental breakfast but do yourself a favor and walk just around the corner to the donut shop! They have amazing breakfast sandwiches too!! Just around the corner too is a great burger place, pizza place and 24 hr Subway!! Literally just around the corner to walk to from the hotel. We frequented them all often and the food was awesome!! Would definitely come back!”
“Thank you for a great stay at the Pendry. I’d particular like to thank Adrienne on the Concierge for her friendly welcome and her help throughout my great. She was great. I’d also like to thank D’Lo and Carlos for their customer service, they were also so welcoming. The customer service really made a difference to my 12 days stay. I miss seeing them everyday!”

4222 Vineland Ave, North Hollywood“A fantastically beautiful hotel just a few minutes' drive from the Universal Studios. A free shuttle takes you there. The hotel exudes the splendor of the 70s and 80s, at the time of the Hollywood stars. Stylishly classically but also modernly furnished, it enchants with its luxurious style. You feel comfortable throughout. This starts at check-in, where the staff is always friendly, helpful and courteous. Here the guest is treated with respect and you immediately notice that you should feel comfortable. The rooms are purpose-built and comfortably furnished. Impressive. Thank you”
“Great location. Could walk to a lot of places we were going to or a short Uber ride. Very clean, very comfortable. Would stay here again.
Walkability: Being next to Ovation was very convenient.”
“Food: 5*
Price: 3*

Enjoyed the after party for the Joker premiere here on the outside patio. The food was great, well seasoned and ample. The service was excellent. Beautiful views from the outside patio over Los Angeles all the way to Santa Monica.”

5268 Tujunga Ave, North Hollywood“Hotel is convenient if visiting North Hollywood. Rooms are above average. They are clean and adequately sized. Patio is nice. Workout room below average. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Bring your eye shades! Rooms are very bright in the morning. If you like a dark room you are out of luck as the shutters do not block out light. Also bring your ear plugs. I heard doors slamming all night. Would return for the convenience.”
“Absolutely beautiful property, I loved the room it was spacious (love love love that), loved the decor. And, the bed was really comfortable. To this hotels management team I'd say that they should look into putting a full length mirror in every room...it's always nice to look yourself over before going out. Also, 2 towels in the bathroom just doesn't cut it for me.”
“We stayed here during June 2024. The location of the hotel is excellent- walking distance to Hollywood Blvd. The hotel is beautiful- a subtle glamor old Hollywood aesthetic. The room we stayed in, The Marilyn Monroe, was spacious with a comfy bed. The architecture and garden courtyard is usually where we had our complimentary savory and sweet croissants. The most stellar part of the stay was the amazing staff - from reception to valet- everyone was polite, professional, and warm. It made the stay even more special knowing the dedication of the staff. I will definitely be staying here agin and would recommend The Prospect to anyone looking for a quality hotel in Hollywood.”
“1. The room is large and clean
There is also a microwave which is very convenient?
2. The sound insulation is very, very bad⋯⋯⋯⋯
3. Breakfast is included, but there is only one lady serving it, so you need to wait.
4.?️There is a parking lot, the parking fee is 22 per night
5. The location is very good, very close to the Avenue of Stars
But there are many homeless people on the road out of the alley.
Pay attention to your own safety at night”

1401 S Oak Knoll Ave, Pasadena“The Langham Huntington is such a beautiful hotel that is hidden, as it is surrounded by a residential area. I have visited this hotel twice during this month. I came earlier this month for a conference and then I came back with my husband and our little girl dog to walk the grounds and have a nice meal (both The Hideaway Pool Bar and The Terrance are dog friendly, both by the pool. And yes this hotel is also dog friendly in which you may bring your dogs with you when you stay, for an additional fee). Both visits were enjoyable and the staff I interacted with were very friendly and always ready to provide any help or answer any questions if I had any. Staff were also always in smiles when they saw me with my little girl. We enjoyed walking through and taking photos in the Japanese Garden and also in the Horseshoe Garden after lunch. We also enjoyed sitting and relaxing in the tap room, which has a lovely view of the Horseshoe Garden. Most of the hotel was very beautiful, however part of the hotel currently is under construction, with a new pool that will be added and won't be open until later this year. When I came for a conference, it was held in one of the ballrooms. It was nice that each chair came with one of The Langham Huntington's pretty pink pens and notepads for note taking (I saw that other conference attendees took those pink pens when the conference was over from empty chairs). Since this conference was an all day event, breakfast and lunch was provided. I enjoyed the food options that the conference had chosen and thought the food was good overall (although there was a mushroom soup that was very salty that I did not like). The nearby restrooms downstairs from the ballroom were always very clean. As for parking, for day visits, it is rather expensive. Valet seemed to be the only option in which it cost $25. However I was very fortunate for the conference that I attended to have valet included (the conference I attended was sponsored by a large company in which I didn't have to pay for anything). And I was also very lucky to receive an extra validation from the conference to have another day of free validation (which is why I came here for another visit with my husband and our little girl). Overall, I had a great experience with both of these very different visits and am glad that I was able to bring my dog and my husband with me on the last one.”
“I absolutely LOVED my time staying at the Tangerine. I stayed for solo for one night and felt absolutely safe and cared for. Walking distance to amazing food, the bed was cozy, and the room was clean.”
“This was our first stay at the Coast Annabelle Hotel, located off West Olive Avenue in Burbank, during our two-night stay in May. This cozy establishment is within quick driving distance of Hollywood, Griffith Observatory, movie studios, theme parks, and other points of interest. Upon arrival, the building on the outside looked nice and quaint, with a bar and restaurant on-site. The entrance and lobby were exceptionally clean. My partner and I were greeted by the staff at the front desk. Our room facing the parking lot on the 2nd floor was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The large shower was really great, with a rainwater feature and a regular shower head as well. However, the way this hotel is set up, the hallways are open. So one walks out of your room and can look out at the reception area and other rooms. So noise travels fast and hard. They do offer a free shuttle bus to Universal Studios as well as Burbank Airport, but they recommend booking early. All the staff were friendly, polite, and helpful. This hotel provided us with what we needed, and I can recommend it.”

Had a microwave and fridge. Everything was very clean and smelled fresh in the room. I liked that the window could open. I felt safe to walk in area to coffee shop, grocer and a few restaurants.”

8401 W Sunset Blvd, West Hollywood“Been here many times over about 5 years. The bar at the pool often has different hours than advertised/ posted and they still don't have room service or food service at the pool according to the staff I spoke to. Sucks because nearly everyone at the pool would order food if they could. This poor valet had to enter my card information by hand because the device they use is broken and management apparently hasn't replaced it. Seemed strange and unfair to them. Also one of the soap dispensers in the bathroom has been broken for many weeks. Sometimes the wood keys don't work, have had to get them replaced minutes after being issued, and the door to the pool deck seems broken from time to time. Hard to get in, or out. With a few small tweaks, i'm sure there r others needed too, would be in 5 star territory. I also think they should hire more valets as there is typically a line/ wait to drop off and to pick up cars even during the day.”
“We stayed one night to celebrate a special occasion. The Montrose is a boutique hotel with limited staff but they do the job. It's ideal for guests who don't need a lot and just want to sleep somewhere quiet but close enough to walk to some action. It's located minutes away from the heart of We Ho. The pool on the roof is enjoyable albeit small. It is more of a sip and dip pool than a swimming pool. They do have comfortable lounge furniture so on a sunny day, it is ideal for a nap before heading out for the evening. The rooms are comfortable and clean and I love the body lotion and shower gel. Parking is expensive $50+ per night so find street parking if you want to save some cash.”

1401 S Oak Knoll Ave, Pasadena“Food 3 stars, location 5. We have been here at the hotel several times for a variety of functions such as weddings and business meetings, but that was about 10 or more years ago. We recently stopped by to begin celebrating a special day with lunch at the Terrace and a walk about the hotel and take a peak at the new pool they're building. The hotel itself is very dramatic. We had the fish & chips and the shrimp ceviche as nothing else interested us other than the two Manhattans which were very good. We subbed truffled chips for a few dollars more. I was however surprised at the limited lunch menu as it was busy for lunch. All other hotel dining locations were closed till dinner. It's always worth the $15 parking fee with validation or $25 just to look around this historic hotel as nothing in the LA area can compare to it. Also a great weekend getaway.”
“Staff is professional and made our 2day stay. Our room was clean, quite and functional. Morning breakfast was as good as other hotels. I will stay again without any concern. Thank you”

8221 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles“Our Chateau Marmont experience somehow managed to exceed my expectations. We stayed a few days in one of the garden cottages and had a blast. If you have the ability to mix with the rich and famous without making a fool of yourself, there is great fun to be had. One of the best things about CM is its strict "no foolishness" policy, which does a great job of regulating behavior and creating a relaxed atmosphere. If you go to the Chateau planning on getting selfies with celebs or getting autographs or generally being a nuisance, stay elsewhere, because you'll be shown the door.
PROS: Really good vibes - the hotel is relaxed, not stuffy. Hotel staff were uber professional; by the third day, they knew who we were and treated us like insiders. The whole place drips of Hollywood history, so if you're a history nerd like me you'll be in heaven. If you hang out in the evening you will undoubtedly see famous people roll through the (very small) bar and restaurant.
CONS: The cottages are close to Sunset and you can hear the traffic. This is my only complaint.”

“I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Safari Inn Hotel in Burbank, CA, and it was an exceptional experience. The hotel's retro charm and vibrant decor immediately set a welcoming tone, making me feel like I'd stepped into a classic Hollywood movie. The rooms were impeccably clean, a little small for a family of 4, and well-appointed, providing all the modern amenities while retaining a unique vintage flair. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. The rooftop heated pool offered stunning views of the city, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Its convenient location, just minutes away from major studios and attractions, made it an ideal base for exploring Burbank. Overall, the Safari Inn exceeded my expectations, combining comfort, style, and excellent service in a delightful package. The Safari Inn Hotel in Burbank, CA, offers a delightful array of amenities and services that enhance the overall experience. Here are some of the standout features:- **Rooftop Pool**: The hotel boasts a beautiful rooftop pool with stunning views of the surrounding cityscape. It's the perfect spot for a refreshing swim or to unwind on the sun deck with a good book.- **Fitness Center**: For those who like to stay active, the hotel has a well-equipped fitness center. It includes a variety of exercise machines and free weights, catering to a range of workout preferences.- **Pet-Friendly**: The Safari Inn is pet-friendly, making it a great choice for travelers who want to bring their furry friends along. They provide pet amenities to ensure your pet's comfort during the stay.- **Free Wi-Fi**: Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, making it easy to stay connected, whether you're catching up on work or streaming your favorite shows.- **Parking**: The hotel offers free on-site parking, which is a huge plus in the Los Angeles area where parking can often be challenging and expensive. What’s challenging is some of the parking you gotta make awkward choices of how you’re gonna park.- **Shuttle Service**: A convenient shuttle service is available for guests, providing transportation to nearby attractions, including Universal Studios Hollywood and Warner Bros. Studios. The best part it’s included with your stay. Make reservations, ahead of time to secure your spot on the shuttle. Holds around 9 people. Time slots from 6am - 9:30pm the latest daily. Also, don’t forget to tip the driver. On my stay only one other person tip the driver. Cheap azzes, those trips cost around $50 -$70 both ways. An I saved $35 for parking at Universal Studios on both Saturday and Sunday. So be generous and tip the driver.- **24-Hour Front Desk**: The front desk is staffed 24/7, ensuring that assistance is always available. The staff are knowledgeable and can help with everything from check-in/out processes to local recommendations.- **Laundry Services**: For guests staying longer or who need some laundry done, the hotel offers laundry and dry-cleaning services, which is very convenient.- **Meeting Rooms**: Business travelers will appreciate the on-site meeting rooms, which are equipped with audio-visual equipment and can be arranged to suit various types of gatherings and events.- **Room Amenities**: The rooms themselves are well-appointed with comfortable beds, flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, coffee makers, and almost spacious bathrooms. With 4 people it felt small. Just my family looks at it like we ate staying in are hotel room all day. We only use the rooms to have a roof over are heads. Some rooms even come with kitchenettes, ideal for longer stays. Just would be nice if there was a small closet. With these thoughtful amenities and services, the Safari Inn ensures a comfortable and enjoyable stay, whether you're in Burbank for business or leisure.Nearby activities: Universal Studios, Warner Bros. Studios, malls, AMC theater and a whole exciting little city to look atSafety: The whole areas lit up around the parking lot and around the place. Also”
“The host can speak Chinese and is from Taiwan. I feel friendly. I stayed here for one night on the last day of 2023 during the New Year's Eve and watched the New Year's Day float parade. The breakfast was delicious and endless. After watching the float parade, you can come back to eat. The price is expensive, but the location is perfect in the cold winter. It’s worth spending the night in a warm room”

322 N Pass Ave, Burbank“Stayed for one night so maybe didn't get to experience as much as others. Staff was incredibly helpful and kind - we arrived when it was raining and the valet came out to our car with an umbrella. The room itself was nice but oddly arranged, bed squished up against the window, so hard for second person to get in and out. We walked across the street for breakfast at Bea Bea's, but LA is not known for being walkable and requires a car to drive to most destinations/attractions”

1133 Vine St, Los Angeles“We travel to LA 4-6 time a year and stay in the Hollywood area. We have experienced many of the hotels in this area and this is my favorite. First we were greeted by the General Manager Mudey, who is simply exceptional. Often in this part of town we experience a lack luster greeting, employees who won’t look you in the eyes, impatience and a general ‘I’m too hip to care’ attitude. It was so refreshing to encounter a confident, positive and gracious person willing to be helpful and kind after a long day of travel. The little things were often anticipated before we had to ask. Mudey really set the tone for our entire visit. The room was immaculate, large, and so very quiet. This area of Hollywood has a lot of activity and can be very loud at night. Cleanliness is everything, and this one was spotless, we really appreciate that! Every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful. This is the only hotel that has won my loyalty and made me want to return, I am looking forward to booking our next visit!”

5625 Sunset Blvd, Hollywood“After reading great reviews online, I recently decided to take a spontaneous trip to Palm Springs and opted to stay at The Dunes Hotel. While I initially considered the Hilton, I found myself deterred by comments about its outdated facilities, prompting me to explore other options. The Dunes stood out with its impressive ratings on Google and Yelp, so I gave it a shot.
When I called the hotel, I spoke with Eric at the front desk, who confirmed that all rooms are non-smoking—definitely a bonus for me. I ended up booking two nights through their website and appreciated the convenience of online check-in.
I drove from Santa Monica and arrived around 8 PM, thanks to traffic. Upon my arrival, Robert greeted me warmly, making the check-in process smooth and hassle-free. I had requested a room near the pool, and they graciously placed me in a lovely second-floor room right in front of the pool.
The room was just what I needed: clean, spacious enough for one (or even two), and pleasantly uncluttered. Perhaps because I visited on a weekday, the hotel was quite empty, which suited my desire for a peaceful retreat. I also had the pleasure of meeting Lindsay, who was friendly and welcoming during my stay.
The location of The Dunes Hotel is a traveler's dream, just a short drive from local coffee shops, restaurants, and shops. The affordable price of $107 a night made it an even more appealing choice compared to the Hilton.
Overall, my stay at The Dunes Hotel was thoroughly enjoyable. It’s an excellent option for solo female travelers! The hotel provided the relaxing atmosphere I was seeking, along with exceptional service and a convenient location. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Palm Springs!”
“Great location. Great service. Rooms are always clean, spacious, beds are comfortable. Valets are helpful with directions, loading and unloading bell carts. Coffee and breakfast always hits the spot. Check-in process is quick. Would recommend to all.
Food and drinks: There are so many restaurants with in walking distance.”
