“I feel so incredibly lucky to have had my daughter attend Parents and Children. Today is the last day of the school year, and while I'm sad that she is graduating, I'm also very grateful for the experience she had.I strongly believe in the schools foundational curriculum of play based learning. My daughter truly enjoys learning because of the fun atmosphere they've created around it. Nothing is forced, curiosity is nurtured, and they are free and independent to explore what they want to. The teachers are all so warm and kind, they really make preschool feel like a second home not to just my daughter but myself included. Picking up my daughter with my youngest has become one of our favorite things to do everyday because we feel so welcomed and the environment is always bustling with activities and laughter. The staff is incredible. They've always taken such great care of my daughter even during her toughest moments, she was never scolded or punished, they've always taken a kind and gentle approach which I really appreciate and helped my daughter work through some tough times. Especially miss Conny, she not only kept me updated with what my daughter was working through, but gave me tips, shared personal experiences, and was just there as a friend when I had those tough mornings. This school is an absolute treasure.”

“This place is amazing. Our 2 son was and is enrolled in the program, and my 9 year old was just for one year from age 4 to 5. My older one was completely transformed, and he blossomed from a shy, reserved child. My younger son, who is enrolled currently has gained important motor skills and his language has also exploded! We love CEC and highly recommend them for quality, early education programs.”

“My son's time at LWP is coming to an end, and while he's more than ready for kindergarten part of me wants to keep him cocooned in preschool forever. Suzie and Annaliese and the rest of the team are pros. They're warm, accessible, understanding, and balance the line between firm and flexible. They've navigated the murky waters of Covid protocols with transparency and always with the kids' best interests forefront. There are multiple (four, by my count) different outdoor areas for kids to play in and explore. Classrooms are clean and orderly. I was one of the noobs who came in Day 1 thinking "Oh, having snack/lunch provided isn't going to work for my kid, he's too fussy." Lol. Nope, he now eats pesto pasta, tuna salad, and chili with gusto (although prefers it when Miss Lisa makes it than what I make at home). As other commentators have mentioned there are a lot of fundraisers, but I'd imagine that's sort of par for the course. With the exception of the annual $50 PTO required "donation" everything else is optional, and what they do sell is pretty decent (better than what my daughter's elementary school sells). We are so happy to have spent the past three years at LWP, and I'm going to be bawling my eyes out next week when I pick my son up for the last time.”

“CCNS has provided my family with such a warm and nurturing environment for the past two years. I specifically chose a co-op preschool because I wanted to be a part of my child's first educational experience, and I'm so glad I was able to help out in the classroom that first year. During the pandemic, the school closed temporarily but the Director and teachers worked extremely hard to create an amazing virtual learning program that helped kids continue to learn and feel connected to their class (and helped parents stay sane) during the Stay at Home orders.CCNS eventually reopened and I felt completely comfortable with the school's stringent health and safety protocols, and I knew my child was in great hands. The teachers are so wonderful and the parents are very involved as well - it really feels like a family. It's been such a delight to watch my kid bloom in so many ways, thanks to CCNS. I'm genuinely sad that our time is coming to an end, but we will be back! Thank you, CCNS!”

“Foothill Progressive is an amazing school, and my daughter absolutely loved it there! She started in April 2021 at the age of 3, and she graduated in June 2023. All the teachers were extremely welcoming and involved with the children, as well as Ms Kanthi, the director of the school. So many of the teachers have been at the school for decades, which shows just how much they enjoy helping grow these young minds. My daughter loved all the teachers, especially Ms. Fatema, Ms. Chrissy and Ms. Raquel...so much so that we visited the school last week because she wanted to tell all the teachers about her new school, but also how much she missed them all!If you do attend Foothill Progressive Montessori, which I highly recommend, you should consider taking the extracurricular activities. Ms. Fatema's science class and Ms. Kim's art class were fantastic, and exceeded all my expectations. And both teachers would send pictures home each week of my daughter completing the art or science project. In addition, my daughter participated in the dance class and sports class, and thoroughly enjoyed them both as well. All in all, I can't say enough positive things about Foothill Progressive Montessori and the positive impact it has had on my daughter's life.”

“Hogg's hollow was the best decision I made for my kids' younger years. They have a unique outdoor program catered specially for hands on learning with the aim for kids to become more independant and confident about their abilities. Field trips, science experiments, organized cultural events, outdoor classrooms, art rooms are just a few of their curriculum activities that keeps it exciting for the kids. In addition to this, year round access to the adjacent track field where the kids have daily biking lessons and enjoy track and field days are an excellent source of daily exercise. Lastly, the teachers at Hogg's hollow have been the same since my oldest started with them ..which was several years ago..this is an indication of a healthy school environment for teachers and kids. To parents of young kids, gives this school a chance before you exploring anything else.”

“The teachers are so warm an nurturing, they keep the kids just the right amount of busy, leaving plenty of time to play, and all of the other kids and parents we’ve interacted with here have been wonderful. Our daughter told us just last week, verbatim, “I love my preschool.” We love your preschool, too, kiddo.”

“I attended a free ballroom class with Brunch for seniors, and it was a lot of fun. The auditorium is huge and the staff members are very nice. They have some free activities and other ones that you have to pay for.”
