Ana is an absolute artist and consummate professional. I’ve been a loyal Supercuts clients for decades and have always been impressed with the level of service and attention to detail. The most recent location I frequent is in La Cañada. When the Sunland location closed, I found this gem and Ana and team have been a stellar team. I recommend and trust this team to anybody looking for a fresh cut. Thank you!

Russian lady with blonde hair cut my hair wayyy too short. Girl.. this is not medium hair .. this is not cutting off my dead ends. Anyways never coming to super cuts again.

I experienced the weirdest attempt at getting my hair cut and highlighted. Supercuts' website says, "We kick things off with consultation. Our expert stylists learn about what you have in mind, then recommend the right look to complement your face shape, lifestyle, and overall preferences." My experience is the exact opposite: I was seated by the stylist and I showed her some photos of layered bobs that were similar to what I wanted. She asked me how much layering I wanted. I asked her if she meant where to start the layering. She said yes in a way to imply what else could she have meant, and then rapidly moved her hand between three levels of my face, from my cheekbone down to my chin level. I said I guess the cheekbone level was fine. Then I told her that I also wanted highlights to blend out my grey. She said that highlights won't do that, with no further suggestions. I said that's OK, I'll try them anyway. Then she asked me how I wanted the highlights, and gives me four choices ranging from thin to chunky. I said I don't know because I've never had highlights and asked if she could explain the differences. She said she couldn't do my hair unless I tell her what I want. I asked her if she could show me pictures of the differences. She huffed off to grab three generic hairstyling books from the waiting area, and told me that I could also just google it on my phone. She came back with three books, handed them to me, and walked off. I started flipping through the first one which had a bunch of random pictures of hairstyles - did she expect me to flip through them until I found several examples of highlights? I wouldn't know "chunky" highlights from "thin" highlights if I even found them in the books. I put the books aside. She eventually came back with a price for my haircut and highlights, which was acceptable. She reiterated that she couldn't cut my hair unless I knew exactly what I wanted. I told her that I didn't want her to take this the wrong way, but I've never been treated as rudely and in such an unhelpful way when getting a haircut. She said it would be better if another stylist helped me, and she literally ripped off the little spongy/tissue wrap thingy around my neck in a way that was uncomfortable. At that point, I left the store.

I'm a hairstylist myself, 30 years....Vidal trained and I had a desperate moment where I decided to walk into Supercuts La Canada and found Ana....all I can say is I struck Gold!! I've had the hardest time finding someone to cut my hair in the exact way that I would do it in many high end salons and I need not look any further! She's very talented and has great listening skills and focuses 100% on the job.

We usually have great service. Today, it was like something bad happened to the store before I arrived. Very curt from beginning to end. Even after tipping. Not expecting bubbly, or great conversation, but at least polite and some communication. Strange.

At 6.33 I walked in and I was told that they are fully booked with 2 people waiting. I am loyal customer of this location for the last 5 years and I have never been told that I can not have a hair cut without appointment. The lady did even try to see what service I need and told me to use there mobile app gor next time.

It feels a bit odd reviewing a Supercuts. Isn't the point that you ought to get consistent, nicely cut hair? I think I suffer from having the mostly basic haircut on the planet so don't really value having a haircut generally as some do so my review is:- good, cut lasts 4-5 weeks, they're nice to my daughter when we go in together #supercuts
