Unfortunately I was here too early, and couldn't go inside. Opens at 10am, so I'll try to time it better next time! I heard in the summer, it's nice to visit this place for the air conditioning. I'm sure the artwork is much more impressive than that reviewer makes it seem.

Unique exhibits reflecting artistic interpretations of floral themes engaging the local community. Definitely should not be missed when visiting the gardens and worth the brief but steep uphill walkway.

I'm surprised to see only 4 reviews for Sturt Haaga Gallery at Descanso Gardens.It is a small gallery next to Boddy House that opened in 2011. It carries different exhibits throughout the year. All exhibits are very interesting and educational. The current one is called Full Circle: A Return to the Land. It talks about human interaction with the land, and will run through March 13, 2022.Descanso Gardens website has a current schedule of exhibits and events. Admission is free, it's included with admission to the gardens.Definitely recommend to visit and support local artists!

This is only building at the top of hill you can go in for free. You can see many arts for plants. They are not that intriguing although interesting in the beginning. At least you can enjoy shadows and air conditioning here.
