Damm!! I never thought I was going to visit Gelson’s Market at La Cañada Flintridge on Foothill Blvd. So many groceries to find. Don’t visit frequently not unless my friends & families want to go shopping. So expensive & cheap prices such as pizzas, meats inside the deli sections frozen foods chips desserts and much more!! The lady at the deli counter & cashier were so friendly. I was happy about that. Feeling so satisfied. A slice of pizza that I ordered it’s for my mom. Easy to find items. Highly recommend for people to visit La Cañada. Keep up the great work. Best day ever in my life. 100% organic products fresh & delicious! I’ll definitely take my friends to have fun shopping at Gelson’s Market.

I really appreciate the La Canada Gelson's staff. The checkers and baggers are neat, polite and seem to truly care about serving the customer. Not to disparage the other markets in town (there are 3 others), it's just that Gelson's stands above the others.

The holiday meal was absolutely terrible. $90 for 4 sides and they were disgusting! The mashed potatoes were liquid, probably prepared with powder. Absolutely disgusting... really disappointed! 1/10/24 update: I read Gelson's response to my comment and it looks like a very generic response that doesn't really address the issue, almost like if it is copied and pasted from somewhere else. Its clear that they don't care and are not doing anything to improve. Not sure what they guarantee Nic, after reading your response I am not coming back ... good luck!

Cleanliness, vast variety of deli, hot foods that were not previously available, gorgeous glitter ripped roses!The professional clerk who was courteous and respectful of me.

Even though I live in Pasadena (California), I don’t frequently visit La Cañada-Flintridge but on this particular Friday (December 29, 2023) I drove up because Gelson’s was having a BOGO event — buy one, get one free. And when Gelson’s has this special shopping event, it shouldn’t be missed. This Gelson’s didn’t disappoint. And when I had trouble finding a few BOGO items on the shelves, a very friendly and professional young woman by the name of Madeline (pronounced MAD-uh-LINE) came to my rescue. Not only did this Gelson’s team member stop what she doing, she found my items in the stock room. She even went so far as to ask her store manager if I could substitute one BOGO brand item for the same item in another flavor. (They said “yes.”) That’s excellent customer service. The store was pristine, clean and well lit. Parking was a snap. And the check out as a breeze. For a first-time visit to Gelson’s La Cañada-Flintridge, this former business editor of the Pasadena Star-News gives it a FIVE STAR rating.

Went in to shop for some cookies and asked an employee named Kelly if she can help me, Kelly said she didn't have time for me, I asked again because I told her it's a simple question, Kelly rolled her eyes at me and with an attitude said she does NOT have time for me. Kelly is representing Gelsons with her horrible attitude, and her rolling eyes were unnecessary. If Kelly is gonna have that attitude, Kelly should work elsewhere, because as soon as Kelly gave me her attitude, I left and took my business over to Sprouts.

Love Gelsons. It is always clean and well stocked. All cashiers and workers are pleasant and helpful. 5 stars for sure!!!
