“WOW. I was looking for a Star certification Smog Check in Woodland, as I used to go to a place in Davis that's now closed. In my limited online searching, I came across this place. I called Russ and he got me a smog check appointment for that day at 10am, although he also said they offer walk-ins, but they can guarantee faster service with an appointment. I brought my Prius V in at 10am and was told it would take about 30 minutes. My son and I walked to the nearby Crazy Bakery for a treat while we were waiting. There is a very small waiting area with a bathroom that's out of service, but it's nice and warm out of the cold.Our car was done within 30 minutes and Russ sent all the info to the DMV. He was nice and interacted with my toddler too. I'd highly recommend coming here for your smog check! It cost around $69.They also sell gas and offer walk-in oil changes.”

“Took my 2012 accent in for a check engine light. Catalytic converter needed to be changed. They were very professional as to telling me what can possibly be the problem. 10-13-2023. Convert ended up needing to be replaced. They did not try to sell me anything that was not needed, nor did they add anything additional that was not asked for very quick to get the job done. Gave me amazing future advice. A little on the pricy side but great prices come with amazing work done.”

“I had gotten a quote to replace my Transmission on my truck for 8k from another establishment in town. DMC was recommended to me from a friend that said they were affordable and fair. I reached out to Daniel and he told me he could do it for half the price. After calling around and thinking 4k was alot as well i bit the bullet and did it. I didn't expect the step by step communication as far as when he promised it would be finished and when he was able to finish earlier then expected. I will only use this company from here on out. “I am normally not a guy that writes reviews but this is well deserved. Had called and talked to Alex about replacing my injectors and cross over tubes on my 01 Ram diesel. I am very picky with my truck and he told me they keep all vehicles inside at night. That was a positive and their shop was clean. I am over an hour from them but thought it will be worth the drive. They did a fine job on the install and kept my truck inside and cleaned the engine and under area to get rid of the diesel fuel that gets all over from the job. It also was less than Alex original quoted me. He was very fair with the price and I left with the truck. I still had some issues and decided to take it to the dealer in my town and they could find nothing else wrong with the truck. Called Alex and he said they did just what I ask them to do and that was correct. I ask him if I brought it back could he do some more diagnostics since the dealer couldn't find anything. He said bring it in which I did and Alex called me the next morning and told me to come get the truck and that he thought there was an issue with the transmission. That was why it was still dropping off when going into drive from reverse. It sometimes would die and he said he thought it was a solenoid or something with the torque converter. I am thinking how could this be as I had the transmission rebuilt about 20,000 miles ago. I took the truck back to the shop that rebuilt the transmission and they opened up the trans after ordering the part that Alex said was bad and found that there was metal all in the transmission and that they thought it was coming from the torque converter. The transmission had to have a total gone through again. Alex called that out correct and he did say they are not transmission people but after their diagnosing the truck that he believed it to be the trans and boy was he correct. I cannot thank him enough for taking the time to check out and run more test. I can honestly say I have never been treated so good by a repair shop and Alex as I was with Valley Fuel Injection and Turbo. I would highly recommend them. Thanks to Alex and his crew for being so honest and fair.”

“I caught a huge rock into my windshield on road 102 in my two month old F-150 and I hesitated to go with Safelite because they boosted stuff out of the last truck I did with them. I decided to go local and Jerry at Rainbow was awesome. My truck has a 75 year decal on the windshield and I wanted that specific windshield to keep everything original. Jerry obtained the correct glass and the shop did the reprogramming required for the truck and I couldn’t be happier.
The shop is neat and clean and everything was handled in a friendly and professional manner. I will bring all of my future glass work to Rainbow, and there will be more living out where we do with the highways as they are.

“I was traveling to my new home from Washington State to Fresno, California. 10 miles outside of Woodland, I broke down, sheered off all the studs, lost the lugs, honestly I thought I messed EVERYTHING up. I had AAA pick me up (great tow company and wish I got his info) and suggest a shop that will take good care of me. Well he dropped me off on a Sunday. I stayed the night, rented a car and expected to pick it in a week or two. I showed up the next day, explained the situation, guys took me in and provided some relief on jumping on it. My thoughts (even calling my service contract company) Fil calls me 3days later, saying my vehicle was all fixed, minus some custom lugs (which was me for not ordering the proper ones). Now remember, I had thought at a minimum, over $1000 - nope, these guys got me back on the road for under $300!!!! I about fell out of my chair! The next day, jumped in the rental to drive the 7hr round trip. Fil & Hector even came and picked me up at the rental store.

If you want a solid mechanic or shop, do yourself a favor… Go see F & R! I couldn’t have been happier with their entire team!

“We received such quality, knowledgeable, and friendly service from the owner of USA Tires. We were stuck on I5 in 115 degree heat with a flat tire on our Tesla a couple of weeks ago. It was an ordeal getting a tow truck to us in Colusa County and finding a shop that could repair or replace our tire. Some shops just couldn't promise anything since it was a Tesla. However, when we called USA Tires, the owner's son answered with such positive energy and reassurances that they could help us. Indeed, their confidence over the phone translated in authentic, reliable service once they examined the car. They checked every tire and only replaced the one at a reasonable price. They explained everything clearly plus offered additional info about Tesla tires based on their experience.
