We purchaed a 2017 Tahoe in 17, after purchase it cost another 14 grand to keep it on the road. The final blow was when the transmission went out and when we went back to Steve's they told us it would take another 8 grand, it would take 3 weeks and they don't provide loaners. So, how does one get to work when they live in Manteca and work in Modesto...theTahoe is gone, now and has been replaced with something else. We had a Mercedes for 30 years and never needed a transmission. The reason I'm writing this now is I keep hearing how great your co. is on my radio and every time I hear it, my blood boils. We know cars can have issues but not that many in such a short time and no customer care after purchase. We wasted a lot of money buying the Tahoe here...

I have been looking for a 4dr long bed, 4X4 one ton truck for my new business. I live in SoCal and with the UAW strike, chip shortage and low inventories I could not find a single truck of any brand within 200 miles. In mid September I was on Chevy's main web page looking at inventory and I saw that the truck I was looking for was in transit to Steve's Chevrolet in Oakdale which was 400 mile north. I called the dealership and I spoke with Jeff Steves, the owner. Immediately I was put at ease with his country hospitality and low stress style. I provided the VIN number to him and he affirmed it was in transit, arriving around Oct 3. He told me it was mine if I wanted it. I asked him for his best out-the-door price which I thought was very fair. I know he could have thrown a 10K markup on the truck but he didn't. Now here is why I was over the top with the service... I explained I would be arriving on my Harley Davidson and I would need a loading dock so I could drive my Harley into the bed of the truck and drive the truck home. I didn't have a ramp and I wasn't about to ride a 960 pound bike up an 8 in wide ramp into the bed of a 4X4. Jeff arranged for a nearby business to allow me to use their loading ramp. As soon as I arrived Jeff told his son Austin to grab the truck lead me to the business where we loaded my Harley. When I returned Jeff went over all the paperwork with me. Then he made sure I had the proper App on my phone to control the truck and he walked me through all the trucks features. When it was all done I was sent home with a full tank of gas. I have purchased over 2 dozen cars in my life and I have never had a better experience. Also, this was my first Chevy. Even though it was a 400 mile drive I will look here first for all other car purchases.

My family and I recently purchased our 2nd vehicle from Steves Chevrolet in Oakdale. What makes Steves special is their outstanding customer service. Given the supply constraints of today's car market we wanted a Sales Associate that was knowledgeable, patient and effectively communicated the status of our vehicle as it was built and delivered. We had the fortune of working with Efren who checked all our boxes! He helped us find the vehicle, trim package and engine we wanted at the price point we could afford while answering all the questions we peppered him with like a champ! :) On the scheduled pick-up date, Efren had the vehicle cleaned, prepped and ready to go. He led us through the no-hassle paperwork (a Steve's exclusive)! It's been 3 weeks now and I still smile back on our experience. Given what we've now come to expect, we'll be back for scheduled maintenance next. Thank you Steves and thank you Efren!

Purchased my Traverse five years ago (tomorrow) and have trusted Steve's Chevrolet for any/all maintenance + services. I've only ever had a couple of minor issues with my vehicle but they've taken great care of me every time. They are fast, affordable, reliable and always respectful + friendly!! They have never tried to up-sale me on anything. And my son loves their game room if we ever have to wait. I honestly won't go anywhere else.

What can I say about this place that wouldn't sound over the top or too cliche? The truth is that this dealership... No, these people really did treat us like family. Tiffany was great at expediting all of my questions and answers. Tina and my wife are kindred spirits and she made it feel like we were always understood and heard. Don delivered the vehicle to our door step (close to Sacramento) and sat at our table like an old friend, explaining the details of the paperwork after he let us drive it around for a half an hour. Needless to say this dealership family has our highest recommendation and I almost wish I lived in Oakdale in order to be able to utilize this dealership and it's services, whom I completely trust. What a relief that would be.

We were on the hunt for a new suburban for over a month. I had called steves and spoke to Tiffany. Let her know what I was looking for and got some info on a z71 they had coming in soon. She had also let me know there was a high country there but already spoken for. Tiffany had called me back the next morning and said the deal fell through so it was available if I'm interested, it was a little out of our price range but I told her we would go look at it and see if we can work something out. Once my wife and I arrived at the dealer she set us with with Efren to help us out. After a few hours of talking and trying to work out a deal we were able to make it happen. Efren did everything he can on his end to make it possible to buy the vehicle we wanted. I have purchased many of vehicles in my life and this was by far the best experience we have ever had. There was never any pressure and the whole time Efren was looking out for what's best for our situation. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and the financial side of it. This was also the first time when buying a vehicle you deal with one person from start to Finish. So once we agreed on a price we signed all paperwork with Efren which made us feel more comfortable. This dealership was amazing from start to finish and Efren has been the greatest Salesmen I've had the pleasure of working with. My wife and I could not have asked for a better experience. Steve's Chevrolet is hands down the greatest customer service

Service department has some very condescending employees. Brian was the only pleasant employees that I've dealt with. No longer going to have my 2019 serviced from this dealership. Unfortunately this is the 2nd new truck that I've purchased from this dealership. Instead of feeling like a repeat customer I felt discriminated against. Bummed:/

I want to make a review I went in yesterday ready to buy a White Denali Hd and we had been told by Alan on the 23rd that it was available and ready for us to buy so we come on the 24 the next day because he said he was going to save it for us and we told him we were going to come and buy it as soon as we see someone assist us we told them about the white Denali Hd that we wanted to buy then they said it was sold this is actually bullshit I come from Turlock and was told it was available wasted my gas that Steve's neighbor had bought it but had not put any down payment or anything just his word this not the first time I hear stuff like this from this same exact dealer this is bad business and not fair to the people that want to buy I had the right to buy this truck Steve . !!!!!!

I can't say enough good things about Steves. They are the nicest people & really take care of their customers! The kind of customer service they provide is almost nonexistent these days. Brian & Jason in service are so awesome! I can't tell you how refreshing it is to deal with people at a dealership who treat you kindly, talk to you respectfully & don't try to rip you off. We are so appreciative!

I really like this dealership. The Service Department is friendly and they are local and I have been waiting to purchase a vehicle from them. Last March, I saw a truck for sale and only being able to drive by on Sundays I called to talk to sales for an appointment. I wanted to go in and hand them money. They are local with a great reputation. But I got no response. I think I called 3X, the truck sold. I then saw another new vehicle online. Called again another 3-4 times, ready to go in and close the deal. Nobody returned my calls. Frustrated, looking to purchase a truck, I found one at another dealer. Now for the past 2 weeks, I have been wanting to purchase a extended warranty, ready to pay. I have been calling now for 2 weeks. No response from Fernando. I want to give you money buddy....
