Karkwood Ski Resort boasts remarkable slopes adorned with fresh snow, offering a diverse range suitable for all skill levels, from gentle green slopes perfect for beginners to exhilarating double black diamond trails for thrill-seekers.The rental staff provides exceptional service, taking the time to ensure each visitor finds the perfect fit. Their meticulous attention ensures both comfort and performance on the slopes. For those eager to learn, the resort offers both group and private lessons for skiing and snowboarding, catering to all ages from 3 years old to adults. The teaching staff prioritizes safety and individualized instruction, ensuring a rewarding learning experience for all.Parking options include both free and paid spots, providing convenience for visitors. However, one area of concern is the pricing of food, which is notably expensive. Items such as a veggie burger priced at $22, hotdogs at $10, and cocktails at $20 may seem excessive considering the quantity and quality offered. Despite this, the resort does provide a complimentary water refilling station, a thoughtful amenity appreciated by guests.

Kirkwood is one of the most extreme and exciting ski resorts. It has over 14 lifts and plenty of great runs to challenge yourself. The views are incredible from the top of Sunrise! If you are a beginner, I suggest going to Timber Creek and trying the bunny run. It’s short and easy. The only downside to Kirkwood is the parking during the weekends and heavy traffic. Other this is a great ski resort.

No Frills just Hills! The runs there are so extreme, I was able to put myself to the Limit on every run. This is probably my favorite place of all the ski resorts I've been to in the Rockies

Stayed in the Kirkland Tower, and enjoyed easy on off to the slope and XC track. Good food at base of Tower. Plenty of snow. Only thing to recommend is to fill those potholes on the road in!

My son and I had a nice time we enjoyed the double black and black runs. It was really icy in the morning that made it not as fun for me as it could have been but it was still a good time in the morning. Took a while to find The park but once we did we spent most of the day there. Park was nice. They had two parks. A large one and a small one. We're not really advanced at the park. But it was fun. They had a really big fun box that we called boxzilla. Would recommend Kirkwood.

Awesome mountain with some very extreme terrain! Not recommended for beginners or those looking to learn harder terrain. I'd recommend already experienced riders and skiers only. Very cool terrain for the adanced and experts. Many cliffs and cornice drops to be had for those looking for it. I feel like I need to up my skills to truly appreciate this place and look forward to doing so. I can only imagine how great it would be on a powder day. Maybe one day i get lucky and my timing and the weather will match up to experience it. All the staff was very friendly and courteous, especially all the lift attendants! Even had a lunch at a restaurant and bar (the wall) at the base, and the food was great and fairly priced( for a vail resort area) the only downside was mlost of the chairs were older fixed grip and slow. Thanks for having me Kirkwood!!

Not a lot of parking, but if you get a spot, the mountains not too crowded. Slow lifts and older/fewer amenities than the mega resorts in the area, but the back side runs were really nice

I like it when they chair slams into me when picking me up. Sometimes the staff catches it though!

Nice terrain, yet not many lifts. Can ski everywhere (Even a cabin in the ski boundary in the rueter bowl.). Some hiking may be necessary, but would definitely recommend. A must do

I've been skiing this resort since 1978! Always a favorite with my brother. I do wish they had more high-speed chairs though
