Store had a very large and nice selection of miscellaneous items. The owner could have been a little more personable to her customers. I would definitely go back to shop at this store.

This shop had so many different things to look at/ buy. I’d definitely recommend going and giving it a look.

It’s was a horrible experience. We have never encountered racism to our face that way. We went in to get a gift that reminded us of our trip to Lake Tahoe and did NOT expect the behavior these two “owners” had. The lady was extremely rude and racist. We got there and her dog started barking at us and wouldn’t move and she just let it and we kept asking her if she could get her dog and she completely ignored us. We had little ones with us and she still didn’t care. The guy almost knocked over my little one like three times. Apparently they don’t know manners and can’t even use simple words like excuse me or sorry. It’s was such a disappointment. She also yelled at my 3 yr old and when I told her to have more respect for her customers she just laughed. We didn’t buy nothing from them. Don’t support the robins nest, it’s a horrible place and unless you wanna be mistreated do NOT go.

Crowded, took in my books to display and discarded them. Not a fan if that is how they treat vendors.

Zero stars! The absolute worst shop attendants in all of Lake Tahoe. Don't even think about asking questions; the male worker will snap at you. He desperately needs anger management and social skills therapy. With their terrible attitude, it's a wonder they even want customers—everyone should take their business elsewhere to stores such as Jai Yen and others around the area, where shop owners are very kind and professional. This is the most unprofessional and nasty behavior I've ever encountered in a store. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place if you want to avoid a truly unpleasant experience.

This is such a charming shop with beautiful and fun gifts to choose from! The owners, Lizzy and Max, saw my sister and I looking at the display window at 7:05 PM (after they had closed) and Lizzy graciously opened the shop back up for us! It was so kind and the gifts we found were perfect for our loved ones. Thank you, Lizzy and Max!! (and the very patient pups who were waiting to go on their evening walk!!!)

Wow, this place is awesome!! What a great place to get little gifts! So many cool things to buy and the owner was super friendly. The prices were fair too. I'll be back for sure :-)

Got an item sent that was the wrong size but the owner kindly replaced the item in a quick and timely manner. Highly recommend this spot if you visit Kings Beach!

What a horrible experience!! We were going up to pay for some rocks and a treasure chest for my young children. The owner then came over and in front of us removed the 2.99 each or 4/$10 price tag and jacked the price up to 6.99 and refused to honor the originally posted price. My children left in tears because she was yelling at us. She got confrontational with us in front of our children, began yelling about it being her business and she got so close to us we could smell the alcohol on her breath. Extremely unprofessional, especially in front of small children. Do not support this woman’s business!!!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The owner was drunk as could be, and quite literally changed the prices in front of us as my little cousins were looking at buying some rocks. I would recommend you taking your business literally anywhere else. The owner was drunk and so rude and honestly a terrible person to be around. I bought a ring before the drunk showed up and I wish I could return it.

Would love to have experienced this shop. Went during the posted hours, and there was a sign on the door that said "back at 2pm". Ok, no big deal. We waited until 2:20 and they never opened. Don't waste your time on this business as they clearly don't value it.

The lady working the front desk was super rude. She yelled at my teenage daughters for using a nail file that said "TESTER". Then after they walked away she continued to bad mouth them saying how disgusting it was to leave your DNA on a nail file. My advice to that gift shop is: don't put "TESTER" on things you don't want people to try

Robins nest looked cute from outside so we just had to enter and look around. i found cute trinkets and baby cloths were adorable but pricey. Appeared to have higher prices then other gift shops in the same area, look around there's identical items for lower price . they do have like other shops hand craft wooden items . My son, daughter and niece wee with us they were waiting outside my daughter came in to tell me the "owner" an older man complimented her but at the same time was rude. I placed my items to pay and my son was getting an octopus stuffed animal he decided last minute he didn't want it so I said to cashier we no longer like this item, she took it and made a sound as if she were annoyed i guess she had to do math or calculations that made it inconvenient for her. Suggest working on your ppl skills if you choose to work or own a gift shop it requires you to be friendly IF you like to have a successful shop, great reviews, word of mouth advertising, and a strong pipeline of buyers Step it up! Prices matter but service matters more. I will be back hopefully you're still there and i'll update my rating accordingly or leave as is, we shall see...God willing.
