“In the mood for a good sandwich, you know the ones with the perfect ratio of meat and bread, one that doesn't shoot all the meat out the bottom, so we stopped in at TCM. We were not disappointed. The Controlled Burn was delicious, crispy bread, fair portion of turkey, and the slaw was just the right hint of heat. Build your own and they'll pile on the veggies. Worth the stop and price of your in the area.”

“Diedra working self checkout area and Jalyn (pretty sure) working the normal checkout restored my general hope and optimism in this community tonight. The rate at which Jalyn (pretty sure I’m messing her name up) scanned my groceries at a rate I have never experienced it broke my head. They should be awarded for their hard work and dedication to their position and the experience we have as a Safeway shopper. They were so fast that I had barely finished entering my payment details and it was done AND BAGGED. I shop two or three times a week and am a full time resident. Seeing them work that hard on a holiday weekend in our tourism based community is truly mind blowing. I have not had that good of an experience in Safeway in awhile and I thank Jocelyn/Jalyn. While I waited in line to checkout I could see the self checkout area and Deidra being constantly bombarded by customers and HANDLING IT LIKE A PROFESSIONAL. Exceptional service in a high stress environment.”

“There’s a deli in the back that has the best sandwiches, sushi, and salads! If you’re looking for a quick and healthy snack to grab before a trip to the lake this is my favorite spot! They also have benches outside to relax amongst the trees ?”

“This is a nice general store. Great selection of food and drinks and friendly staff. Plenty of healthy options. A small sitting area to eat or drink coffee would be nice.”

“We had an AMAZING experience at West Shore Market. It was the best meal we had while in Tahoe City and the best pastrami I’ve ever had. We got the Pastrami Sandwich and the Smoked Mozzarella Pasta Salad. Both were DELICIOUS and even with splitting both we had more than enough food. Highly recommend!”

“La Tienda Latina is a little hidden gem in the heart of Incline Village. It's a little Mexican grocery store that serves delicious made-to-order tacos. Last year we had them cater a new year's eve party we had at our condo for our family and friends while we were in town for the holiday break. We ordered a variety of tacos, including adobada, asada, maciza, and pollo, along with consome, and sides of beans and rice. It was a big hit with everyone. This year we stopped by to order tacos one night, and they happened to have homemade tamales. The tamales are amazing!!! They had a mix of beef and pork with carrots, potatoes, and jalapeños. . Everything here is fresh and delicious. I would highly recommend stopping by to visit.”

“I built my own sandwich and I felt the price was very reasonable. Everything is made to go but there is a space to eat there. There's also a water station by the place where you pick up the coffee, which I used to refill my water bottles. It's also a little grocery store which is convenient. Also the gallon of water from the grocery section was $5 and the water bottles were around 3-5 bucks each from the fridge in case you're thinking of buying water like my friends and I did.”

“During my recent visit, I observed a contrasting display of behavior at the store. While the young ladies working at the front were incredibly helpful and pleasant, there was an elderly lady who appeared to be bitter and unhelpful while putting away products. It was the day after a blizzard, and we were all stuck together, but there didn't seem to be a valid reason for her upset demeanor. Despite this, I still gave the store a five-star rating because of the exceptional service provided by the other staff members. However, it is important to note the negative impact of the bitter person on my overall experience.”

“My Dad, Scott Hoote, worked here for 20 years. Called out twice. Once for wisdom teeth. 2nd for cancer. He needs a plaque and Darius knows it. Give me Dad a plaque. Scott Forrest Hoote.”

“I could honestly see many folks giving this Safeway one star, but I'm giving it four and I'll two you why: service under pressure. This place gets absolutely bombarded with folks, both tourists and locals all times of the year. It isn't uncommon to struggle to find a parking space, and the lines can become exceedingly long. While I know this can be very frustrating, you also have to understand how hard the people in this store are working to keep everything up and running.”
