Without a doubt this hotel will be one of my favorites it is very clean soft beds comfortable pillows we loved staying here the only bad point would be the toilet paper they don't leave any extra but that's the least of it the location is very good there are about 7 places where You can eat from taquerias, fast foods and restaurants and you can walk if you wish.

Place is overrun with stray cats! I mean like 25 or 30, and they feed them, so they are not leaving! Shower head is about 4 feet high, had to bend over to get my hair wet. Breakfast is Sam's Club Danish, cereal or toast, with horrible coffee! Reserved a downstairs room because I have lots of items to carry in to the Room. They gave me very middle top floor! claimed they were full, but only 3 cars in the parking lot! Very few plugs in the room, had to move the dresser to plug in my lap top. Roach seen in my room first night! Decor is very 1980s, including the TV. I got the feeling staff could not care less! there was a dayshift girl that was nice. This place is better than nothing, but not by much! Office is very nice! looks like the owners spend their money to keep themselves comfy, NOT the guests. I would have moved next door to the Best Western, but don't feel like moving all my stuff back down the stairs

The location of the hotel was decent and the price was ok. The breakfast doesn’t have any toast or bagels but was reasonable. The issue was that there was a huge bug in the pillow (see the photos). And the management didn’t even apologize or anything.
Rooms: Nice except for the unfortunate insect issue.
Nearby activities: There is a western themed store/activity place across the street.
Safety: Seemed safe.
Walkability: Not that much walkable around the area.

This is one of the nicest motels I've stayed in. Close to the freeway. Pretty quiet. Young man at the front desk was friendly. Room was clean and seemed recently renovated. Bed was comfortable. Shower was good, but the water pressure could be better. Light above the sink could be brighter. All in all, nice place!

Please be aware that they have a non-refundable policy. I’m a regular guest at this hotel. I had an emergency and had to cancel two reservations. I was hoping to get some understanding, instead I got charged $200+ Not the best way to keep regular customers booking.

Went up Memorial Day weekend for a wedding in the SF Bay Area from LA. I was worried about the traffic driving on Monday back down to SoCal. Wanted to get a head start on the drive back on the long holiday weekend. Decided to leave right after we attended the Sunday afternoon event. I knew Kettleman City was about 3 hours into the drive so I booked a night stay so we'd only have about a 3 hour drive left and we were 3 hours ahead of most people. Everything worked out great. The room was clean and spacious for my family. We were able to sleep and bathe. Traffic getting to Kettleman City was not bad and I got there quicker than I expected. Check In was easy since I booked online ahead of time. The next morning we got up, are the free continental breakfast and were back on the road a little after 8. Check out was easy too. Got back to LA quickly and no real traffic anywhere, the grapevine, Valencia or 5/405 split. All a breeze. This was $ well spent, got back to LA in great time and was able to stop at this convenient very above average accommodation. I would do this again to avoid lots of holiday traffic.
UPDATE - We stayed here at the beginning of Spring Break. It was a good stop like last time. The room was nice and clean. The whole family were comfortable and got a good night's sleep. We were able to wake up and get on the road in the morning.

I needed a safe place to sleep after a long day of driving. I felt safe leaving my Uhaul out front where the Night Desk person could view it from their desk. I was able to relax and get rest.

If you like a rude front desk lady who yells at you to move for parking in an empty parking lot for 5 minutes while you eat, this is the place for you! Such poor customer service that I would not recommend. They earned this 1 star review with how they treated me and my spouse

The hotel was really nice and clean. I had no issues whatsoever. Staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Truly nothing better than walking in a hotel room with a microwave and a fridge it was the best thing ever. Breakfast was from 6-9am (if I remember correctly) I never got a chance to go due to my work schedule. They have a small gym consisting of free weighs a treadmill and a bike. Small and quaint. It was perfect and the gym closed at 10pm. Not a single complaint whatsoever. Appreciate all staff.

Driving down to LA we decided to stop for the night. This was a last minute decision and we were happy to find room at a great price which was also closer to the highway and Tesla charging station. Pleasantly surprised to see the big clean room with comfortable beds and amenities.
Rooms: Clean and comfortable room with microwave and mini fridge
Food & drinks: Hot breakfast and coffee
