Unfortunately this campground has changed policies! As of 2024 dogs will not be allowed on the beach. We are done with this place!!!

very clean. nice beach area. close to town. Rocks on the walkways keep my feet from getting too muddy after a shower. Brand new picnic tables and fire grills. and I like the metal countertop to place my black stone grill. Staff occasionally checks to see if we need anything. Will def come back

Camp Kernville is our favorite river camping spot by far. We love that it's so close to the river where we can fish, float, walk to dinner, the store or the park and the lake is only a short drive south. The customer service comes from the heart and you can tell. We can't wait to go back every year !

very flat campsite for easy set up, beautiful area, nice beach on the river, Kernville is a short walk to restaurants and shops. We will definitely be camping here again.

Staff came to tell us to be quiet in a very rude way. Never got told a warning. Very aggressive toned. Stated we had been warned twice but never was told about our voices or us being told we were being “too loud”. Would be nice if staff approached in a much nicer voice to there clients. As they say you get the respect you give given back to you. Also restrooms were very dirty.Restrooms: Restrooms were dirty and very moist from the showers and no air circulating inside the restrooms

It was our first time on that site. It was close to the water, which i loved very much, and was good for kids (we didn't need to travel long). The bathroom were close to our camp site and was very clean. Yes there were ants and some small spiders but that is nature. Overall was great experience and will book soon for the next summer.

The best place to stay on the river IMO. The best beach/river access, clean, nice restrooms, free showers, walk to restraunts. Highly recommend the river front sites.

Very clean campground. The maintenance team was always working and cleaning the camp sites and the bathrooms. Also loves the beach access and the friendly staff. Town is close to the campground it was nice to be able to walk to town.Restrooms: Very clean restrooms.
