Went in to turn in my passport documents without an appointment, and the wonderful people working there were able to do my application anyway. I am very thankful they were able to take the time to sign all the documents needed to submit for my passport, when they could have told me to come back another day. A+ service!

We drove here all the way from SF for passport application/renewal since there were no nearby appointments available in the city. Staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful including calling the passport office to see which form we needed for a damaged passport! Had extra forms available as well. Never thought I would review a post office on Yelp but it was just such a surprisingly positive experience.

Horrible service they have racist employees that discriminate against Spanish speaking individual. They have a heavy-set woman there that yelled at my mother for asking about a package needing a stamp. My mother was embarrassed and humiliated by this employee. I lived in Kenwood for 18 years and never encountered this before. Overall horrible.

I had a passport appointment at Kenwood Post Office. The staff was very attentive and helped me with the proper form I needed. They were patient and I never felt rushed having to fill out a new form. I highly recommend this US Post Office.

We just moved to Oakmont and used this Post Office to mail some Christmas packages. It was a "blast from the past" and the one postal worker was so kind and polite despite the line. You will have to wait a bit but it is worth it to get personalized non-hectic service!

As another poster mentioned, I also had a bottle of pills shipped to this post office for my 100 year old aunt as I live out of the area. UPS was the carrier and says they delivered the package. The post office is claiming they have no idea where the package is and have no way to track it......something fishy is going on at this post office. Beware what you have shipped to this post office is my advice.

Dropped off package on Monday to be shipped Priority 2 day. Paid fees & received my receipt. On Thursday my package was delivered back to me with no postage on it! Returned to Kenwood Post Office with receipt to have them fix their mistake, but was told receipt doesn't mean anything. They said I was trying to scam them- even though address matched receipt and weight matched. I had to pay another $10.75. So upset! On Monday I did not wait to verify all postage labels were put on my package-I guess that was my mistake to assume they would do their job! From now on- don't leave post office counter until you see your package has correct postage labels.

The secret is out, many people are coming here to avoid santa rosa post office. The people are incredible, they greet you as if they really enjoy their job and take pride in the post office. Seams like all 3 workers work the window, 2 women and one guy. I wish the customers were as friendly as the postal workers, but I guess we don't grade them. It is just wonderful that all of these small towns get a post office, if they have a line Glen Ellen is very close or Boise Hot Springs a little farther.

I love the Kenwood post office! I can walk here from my house and the staff is so nice! They always have a smile and take time with all their customers.
