This is an excellent place to camp. there is a large open area in the middle with camp sites around the perimeter. the open space allows you to get nice views right from the place you are camped. We booked 3 glamping tents for a group of 15. It worked out great. It saved us the effort to setup and dismantle tents. Also the glamping tents had comfortable beds and we got a good night sleep. The number of restrooms was small as compared to the number of campers. Bathrooms were not cleaned often enough and became dirty on the second/third day of the long weekend. Also, bath tissue and paper towels ran out a couple of times.Overall it's still a great place to camp.

.25 a minute to shower, 10 minutes equal $2.50 per person, family of 4 would be paying $10.00! After paying $35.00 entrance and $5.00 dog fee

Lovely place. It has recovered well from the recent wildfires and was especially beautiful after the rain. The campground was clean with running water +shower block/restrooms nearby. The stream has plenty of spots to play in. The waterfall was also beautiful

No wifi, cold at night and no one puts the animals away at night. Mountains block my view of the city. Pretty red leaves made me itchy. Going to the top of the mountain is mostly uphill. Noisy waterfall.

One of the best campgrounds I've been to in the Bay area. They have very friendly rangers at the visitor center. There's firewood and starter for purchase, well functioning toilets and showers on site. 2 cam hosts on the campground for any necessities.

Showers, public restrooms, and a visitor center with wifi and various camping necessities for sale. The camp sites are spacious and many of them are shaded. Bonus is that when you book online you can actually see a picture of what that particular campsite number looks like. The campground is also right next to where most of the trails begin and the observatory isn't far either.
