Such a beautiful place. And the wine along with the service makes it a unique experience.

Wonderful first experience at a California winery. Glynn was our host and poured us a great variety of white and red wines.

$45 for a small tasting standing at the bar. The wine was frankly average and at that price, underwhelming. Service was great though, enjoyed the service staff conversation.

Beautiful property but downright awful wine tasting service by the 'sommelier' Glenn - haughty, distasteful jokes, belittled our wonderful downtown dining experience, constantly interrupted our conversation, behaved as if we didn't "deserve to be there".It was such an awful experience with Glenn that we left soon after the tasting was over and didn't explore the property at all. Here is a Glenn gem "You see those vineyards there, only the super rich can afford a row!"Turns out it is $500-$1000, lmao!Wonderful property, just avoid Hateful Glenn!PS Yes we gave him a 20% tip just to ruin our afternoon.

While on our way from Healdsburg to Sonoma, we stopped by Ledson for the classic tasting. It is a standing tasting at the bar area. Casual, with no pressure. We were in the Sonoma area between Christmas and New Year’s which was perfect. No crowds, no traffic, and lots of attention. The wine was fantastic, and Denise was great. She listened to what our likes were and offered a couple additional options which we ended up purchasing. The Ledson is a beautiful, brick home turned winery. The grounds are gorgeous and the woodwork inside is breathtaking. There are more formal sit down tastings if you prefer. The prices are reasonable too. Definitely recommend. We had a great time.

Very disappointing. We had limited time so we opted for the lower tier tasting and it was definitely lower tier. It seemed like the objective was to give us their unpopular wines. We told our server the varietals we were interested in but she could only serve what she had open. Ledson may have good wines but we'll never know based on our tasting. Fortunately our experience has been very different and far more visitor friendly at the nearby vineyards.

Had a sit-down tasting with Victoria and it was just the most delightful experience. The wines were lovely but the star of the show was Victoria. Will definitely come back.

What a beautiful, warm, inviting venue! Went there for a tasting. All the wines were very tasty and we ended up taking some bottles and shipping some. If you're a fan of Chardonnay, they have a 2021 98 pt. Heaven in a bottle offering. It's more of the buttery type that I prefer over the trending tart ones. The reds were almost as enjoyable. The staff were all very friendly. Such a relaxing, fun, non pretentious experience.

Oh what an incredibly magical place Ledson Winery and Vineyards is... Breathtakingly beautiful castle and grounds, and fantastic wine. As great as everything was, the highlight of our winetasting visit was the magnificent Victoria, who shared the the story of the Ledson family and the castle-like building that was the epicenter of this vineyard. She was just as sweet and charming as she was knowledgeable and engaging. Definitely put Ledson and Ms Victoria on your itinerary next time you visit Sonoma.

Whenever I visit Sonoma, I stay at the Ledson hotel. During my last visit, I decided to finally book a tasting at the Ledson vineyard. I booked the first time slot on a Thursday so it was completely empty, which was great. There is a store conveniently located next to the tasting room where you can pick out meats and cheeses and for a fee, they will slice and plate it for you to eat during your tasting. They also offer prepared charcuteries. The grounds are beautiful too. After your tasting, get a few photo ops in front of the beautiful estate.

Absolutely exceptional. One of the best wine tastings I have ever been to, and in a family of wine makers, I’ve been to quite a few. Jerry is an expert sommelier and a consummate host. Every wine we tried was outstanding, even the Pinot and Chardonnay which normally are not my cup of tea/glass of wine. I can’t recommend tasting at Ledson enough! This is a must do for anyone living in or visiting Sonoma.

The grounds and architecture are breathtaking! The wine was excellent! My only complaint was the woman that checked us in. There are $45 tastings but she kept implying that tastings started at $65. Then she proceeded to say that our group couldn't do a tasting because we had my two children with us and they aren't allowed in the tasting rooms. Not a problem...I responded the group can do a tasting and I can order a glass of wine from the market and just walk the grounds with my kids. She wasn't very welcoming. When we were all leaving I told her thank you and that we had a great time. Her response was "I bet". I'm not sure exactly why she felt it was ok to treat our group this way but I had to share in hopes that she not treat people like this again . Everyone else was very nice.

What a beautiful setting to enjoy a glass of delicious Pinot Noir. The architecture and woodworking in the castle is inspiring and the grounds are so peaceful to enjoy a wine tasting.

This place was exceptional!! From beginning to end. They were accommodating to our schedule (and our changes). Victoria was wonderful for us as well—funny, kind, and a great storyteller. The winery is beautiful, but the people who served us really made this experience all the better. Can’t wait until next time, thanks Victoria!!!

Ledson Winery was an experience to remember. We decided on a wine tasting for the morning and we're greeted by the very knowledgeable and friendly Victoria. She told us stories about the origin of each wine and the history of the vineyard and was absolutely memorable. The marketplace with additional merch and wines to purchase had very friendly staff including Spencer who recommended fabulous cheese and lunch options. Highly recommend this beautiful winery for an experience that tops others. Oh, they have fantastic wine, too!
