Please don’t take this the wrong way, but if money isn’t an object for you then this is the place to shop. It’s significantly more expensive than other grocery stores, but its quality and diversity is considerably better than the other lower priced grocery stores in town. They have a fantastic deli, butcher shop and prepared foods to go. You can’t go wrong with anything you choose in the prepared foods, deli, bakery, wine section and butcher shop. Ask for Richard, the nice Englishman with a funny accent who has been serving the fine people of Marin County since 1899. lol. You can’t get bad advice about your meat from the man behind the meat counter. Tell him Rachel sent you and he’ll take good care of you. Enjoy!

I cannot say enough great things about this store. Truly a neighborhood market. I love the selection which is a mix of brands from all ends of the spectrum. Their produce is fresh, and their bakery is insanely delicious. The coffee shop there is a usual haunt and so is the fro yo bar. Their butchers are FABULOUS and always have what I need. Their prepared food and food bar is fantastic. To top it all off, they have the friendliest staff!!! I love giving them my business despite the high prices

One of the worst burritos I've ever had in my whole life, lives here. This place has no soul. no creme, no spice, no salsa. It's a damn crime. It's Dry and Not GOOD.

Woodlands is always a wonderful store to visit! Today, Christmas Day, made me appreciate how exceptional of a business it is. The store was fully staffed with happy employees dressed festively. (I was never remotely cheerful when I had to work on a holiday!) I had just returned from a trip and had zero prepared foods in the house. They had the most gorgeously prepared holiday foods and treats in abundance. Before I left, I wrote a thank you note I asked to be posted in the employee area. You truly made this holiday wonderful and I thank you!!!

Thank you for the stellar roast beef with blue cheese sandwich today. The line was long but the wizard who made my sandwich today did an amazing job, sorry I did not get your name. He had a sense of humor and kept the line moving. If you're in the neighborhood and are hungry for a quality sandwich look no further. I frequent this location a bit more than Tiburon but I hope they have the same quality/attention to detail.

Absolutely criminal how expensive this place is. I get that many people in the Kentfield area have so much money that they don't even look at prices and there's no other supermarket in the area after Lucky closed in Larkspur. But there's no excuse for some of the prices they charge Progresso Soup for $7.29 (2 for $7 at Safeway or 8 for $15 at Costco) made me audibly break out laughing in the store last night when I HAD to go in to get something for my grandmother All I can say is I sure hope the employees are being paid extremely well because they are wonderful and they deserve it and hopefully it's not just going into the owner's pockets

A whole lot of money to make the coldest place in Marin. Not as inviting as it use to be. The hot counter, self serve is in front of of open refrigeration? Not so hot. The produce section has been cut in 1/2 for the bowling ally to the coffee and bread. ? Who designed this??

Expensive, but great assortment of items.I did buy a Cobb salad at the price of $13.49 and the tomatoes in it were soft and disgusting. Had to throw them out. For a $13.49 salad, everything in it should be FRESH! Do better Woodland prepared foods! Not worth the cost.

Have been going here for years and there is something for everyone. They have a great sandwich counter and pre made meals. I love their bakery and coffee shop serving Equator coffee. Anything you'd need to make a great meal is here. Always a bit pricey but its a good shopping experience now that they have upgraded their store.

Why take away the made to order sandwiches and replace them with horrible pre-made ones?!! The open food bar is odd as well. It's so unsanitary! Nice renovation but missed an opportunity to create something better. As a nearby customer of forty years asked "why didn't they ask us"!?!
