“I really appreciate this fourth generation family owned business. Sandwiches are fab, they have the best specialty products (especially sweets), and they carry all the basics. Docking one star because the prices are astronomically high. Luckily, if you mention Kiddo at the register, they will donate a percentage of your total cost to local public schools”

“It's been here forever...it's a nice place w all the liquor u can buy n a fast n friendly staff...courteous but firm in their policies....it's not much of a great look outside but it's safe n clean....go check it out....it's ok n the owner is a nice man....no Marin attitude or snotty looks...the store is been there forever n deserves to be patronized for if anything...it's longevity n dealings w customers....I like it n I'm hard to please sometimes but it really is a nice place....if a few malcontents are slithering outside don't worry....they keep an eye out..”
“Have to say, I agree with Abraham below! These gentlemen were exceptionally helpful with a delivery I needed—and I'll say several other stores declined (Blackwell's included). The package arrived carefully packed for cross-country delivery within a two week window. These days it feels better than ever to be treated with respect and to bet met halfway with reasonable requests. I'm not from the area, but I can certainly suggest this shop for its wonderful customer service and selection. Enjoy!”
“While not quite the nirvana as the name suggests, Paradise Wine & Spirits can be a wonderful oasis for your boozy needs. You'll find them in East Corte Madera in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it location (a hop/skip/and jump away from Nugget Market). This liquor store's been a Marin County staple for years. I remember trying to buy beer here with my fake ID in high school over 20 years ago (spoiler alert: it didn't work). This place ain't fancy by any means. You'll pretty much find beer, spirits, candy, snacks, and some random canned food & cleaning products. It's not exactly what I think about when I hear the word "Paradise," but this place always has what you need when you're in a jam, so in a way, I could argue that's quite heavenly. Long review short, this is a solid liquor/convenient store option when you're in Marin. They have plenty of free parking in the front. And I gotta give them props for adhering to all the proper Covid-19 safety guidelines (masks, gloves, and a glass partition between the customer and cashier).”
“I just called to find a wine that turns out they don't have in stock. I called to save myself an unnecessary journey. A person named Ricky was so patient and thoroughly checked. He was alone and couldn't ask anyone else. He'd only been working there 2 days which is why he wasn't sure and checked so thoroughly. They are lucky to have him. Such a kind and helpful person!!”
“What a wonderful little bodega! They have so many products to cook authentic Spanish meals - complete with cooking and serving wear you'd find in most bars and restaurants across Spain. I didn't have time to browse the wine selection but they seemed to have a great variety. It's also a great store for to put together a white elephant gift basket...I'll be back soon!”
“This store is FANTASTIC! As a realtor, I was looking for a place to host my First Time Home Buyer Happy Hour Class and Total Wine checked all the boxes. Anthony, the manager, and Albert provided amazing customer service in helping us schedule the room, familiarize ourselves with the tech, order wine, and handle all details. He was prompt and communicative, and we never felt he was overselling us or trying to get us to buy more than we needed.”
“Pretty happy with their imported beer selection since some of it is hard to find. They have westmalle dubbel & trippel, rochefort 6 8 10, saisons and lambic, and a decent amount of German hef, helles & dubbelbock. Did not see Orval though, possibly sold out.”

“I placed an order and totally forgot that I was set to be away for vacation. I sent an email to the manager letting them know I wouldn’t be available for the delivery. The manager Amber held the order/shipment for me until I returned! She was extremely polite, professional and kind. I HIGHLY recommend using this site for top notch products. “Excellent selection of a great Scotch at reasonable prices. Totally unlike the pirate re-sellers. Ok, it's a wine place, but it's my to-go spot for hard to find Scotch. I just ordered online and got it delivered. Yea, I'm in Costa Mesa, home of one of the better liquor stores in the country (and I don't mean Total Wine and More). “I've been going to safeway at cabrillo and 10th for more than 30 years. I consider the people who work there not as employees, but as friends. Denise, Ricky Givens, Eric, Prudencia in produce are all hardworking and easy to get along with. They know their inventory, and are helpful in finding items that you are unable to find. “During our last Safeway shopping venture in Idaho Springs, CO, my husband & I had a thoroughly positive experience. I needed to pick up an RX & finally decided it was the day for a flu vaccination. The pharmacist, Jennifer was extremely helpful. I did not need the RX for awhile, she had no problem with me waiting until it was needed. She also looked up an RX I had a concern about as well as providing the necessary paperwork. Jennifer was kind as well as professional. Richard, the deliverer of the vaccination was extremely patient & did everything possible to ease my distress & possible soreness. Matt was about to leave his register as the rush was over, but his light inadvertently left on. Even though his mindset was on his other duties, he checked out our groceries with a winning personality displaying humor & warmth. Donne (sp?) the front end employee, added to the positivity with her kindness & friendliness. Most appreciatively!! Richard & Michelle Chicago Creek Road”
