“Great food. Great selection of almost everything. Amazing customer service with a smile ☺️? and clean. Easy to park. Great views right at the marina. The best hot, fresh marinated teriyaki flank steak sandwich on sourdough roll I have ever had, at not a bad price either. Gotta see this place and eat here at the marina!”
“This is my favorite Marin grocery store. They carry top brands and a good selection of local items. Some of my favorite things are the bakery, deli, butcher and produce. The staff are always friendly and helpful. You can't beat the service.”
“I really appreciate this fourth generation family owned business. Sandwiches are fab, they have the best specialty products (especially sweets), and they carry all the basics. Docking one star because the prices are astronomically high. Luckily, if you mention Kiddo at the register, they will donate a percentage of your total cost to local public schools”
“This a great place if you prefer natural and organic food options. We stopped here a couple of times while staying in Mill Valley. My only hesitation with not giving this place 5 stars is the prices seemed a little high as compared to other places like Whole Foods.”

337 3rd St, San Rafael“Really kind staff.
I remember when going to Trader Joe’s was a fun adventure. Now, it’s still that, but it’s also ONE OF THE CHEAPEST PLACES TO GET FOOD. I never thought we would come to this. Love you Forever, Trader Joe’s!!!!!!!!”
“Excellent produce, deli, and I get my favorite carrot cake by "Just Desserts" there, also they have bbq fridays outdoors...the steak, chicken or pork ribs are all a great treat to bring home to the family!”
“The Nugget is well named: it's rare to find the quality of product, service, and price anymore, let alone a grocery store. The Staff consider shoppers "Guests" and consistently offer to take "guests" to the item sought rather than mumble something about which aisle your item may or may not be on. Their specials really ARE special and their shelves rarely have an empty spot waiting to be refilled. Each department is well run and the management team embodies commitment to customers. An A++ place to grocery shop!”
“I stumbled upon this place looking for a light dinner and will 100% be back. It’s like a fancier, smaller, local Berkeley Bowl with better quality prepared foods. Their potato latkes are the best I’ve ever had and their salmon cake is chef’s kiss! They can heat it up behind the deli counter and there is seating to eat here.Their prepared food section looks home-cooked, amazing and fresh overall. They also have a great natural product section as well, where I stocked up on Rose bath salts, essential oils, and got a guasha tool too.”
“I love shopping at this store. Their prices are very affordable, and the place is usually very clean and organized. The cashiers are always very friendly and courteous! They always have a smile on their faces.”

307 3rd St, San Rafael“We stopped by this place on our tour of San Francisco. We came from Toronto to visit San Francisco. We picked up some really great Persian appetizers and groceries. Quality of the appetizers was amazing. Loved the store and the owner was super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended”
“I was inspired to write this by a quick stop for apples and vegetables after school yesterday. I shop here about once a week on weekday mornings (plus at the San Rafael location on school breaks and some weekends). The produce is farmers market quality--fresh from local farms--and usually even better priced than Safeway. The fish is the best around and i can only find certain cheeses, like Bulgarian feta, affordably here. Anyway, on this which grocery run between kindergarten and second grade pickup, I told my younger daughter that we weren't going to get treats (which was tough, given how alluring the Christmas display are--and yes, I'm hitting those next week). The store was packed because, it turned out, Thursday is "senior day." My vegetable loving daughter picked out some beautiful oyster mushrooms and a bunch of carrots in lieu of a treat. But then, at the checkout, the lovely cashier offered her a candy cane (after asking my permission) and a balloon. My daughter gleefully exclaimed, "And you said I wouldn't get a treat!" As my kindergartner beamed amidst the crowd of Thursday senior shoppers, I thought about how meaningful local businesses like United are to the community as a whole, from schools to sports teams to seniors.”
“Its grocery outlet find things to try at amazing prices! Find something you like stock up! Inventory constantly revolving, it might dissappear and u won't see it for a while.”
“Such a great local store! Everything is so clean and well-organized. Lots of variety and you can pretty much find everything at this store. Reasonable prices, too!”
“I visited this store for the first time. I admired the cleanness and organization of this place. The service was excellent. It is a small store, but it has a lot of good Peruvian products. I hope this store will soon fulfill pickup or DoorDash orders because it is located on a busy street (Fourth Street), and sometimes it is difficult to find parking close by.I recommend checking the expiration date of the product you would buy. I bought a couple of items that were expired. I didn't bother to return them. Lesson learned.”
“Well stocked locally owned friendly staff market the deli is really great build your own sandwiches is the best deal in town excellent place to stop and have lunch”
“What a wonderful little bodega! They have so many products to cook authentic Spanish meals - complete with cooking and serving wear you'd find in most bars and restaurants across Spain. I didn't have time to browse the wine selection but they seemed to have a great variety. It's also a great store for to put together a white elephant gift basket...I'll be back soon!”
5AM - 12AM
700 B St, San Rafael“My go to grocery store. Having shopping there for many years. Decent prices good service when you need it and has self-checkout so you can be in and out quicker than if it didn't have it. Can get pretty busy but that's because it's good.”
8:30AM - 6:30PM
14 Wharf Rd, Bolinas“Good food, typical Bolinas people run it. Lots of people complain about prices who don't know how remote and special the town is. worth it. Be nice and you get nice back”
“Please don’t take this the wrong way, but if money isn’t an object for you then this is the place to shop. It’s significantly more expensive than other grocery stores, but its quality and diversity is considerably better than the other lower priced grocery stores in town. They have a fantastic deli, butcher shop and prepared foods to go. You can’t go wrong with anything you choose in the prepared foods, deli, bakery, wine section and butcher shop. Ask for Richard, the nice Englishman with a funny accent who has been serving the fine people of Marin County since 1899. lol. You can’t get bad advice about your meat from the man behind the meat counter. Tell him Rachel sent you and he’ll take good care of you. Enjoy!”
