Great family hotel, simple, very clean, friendly, quiet, and a bit old fashioned. In walking distance to restaurants, a great village store and the Marina of June Lake.

I was in town for "Leaves In The Loop". I called the motel for information and was assisted by a very nice person. I decided to skip the online booking service and reserved a room directly receiving a very fair rate. Check-in was quick and easy. I was pleasantly surprised to be assigned to such a nice room. Though basic, it had all I needed to be comfortable for my 3-night stay. The best part was how comfortable the mattress was.The bathroom was clean and looked like it had been updated recently. This motel is in a great location and is within walking distance to most sources of food and the local shops. Everyone that I spoke to in town were all very friendly. This is a very close community and they do make visitors feel welcome. The Leaves In The Loop event was amazing. The weekend started off with a paint-and-sip event on Friday. Saturday had a car show, a guided leaf walk in a local fall color hot spot, then an in-town pumpkin patch with vendors and activities for the kids. All to raise money for the @JuneLakeLittleLoopers, NPO. On Sunday, there was a narrated walking tour of the town. June Lake Loop is an amazing destination for a vacation or just a weekend getaway that offers something for everyone year-round. I would like to thank June Lake Villager Motel for their part in making my adventure awesome!
Rooms: Everything I needed was in the room.
Nearby activities: Walking distance to most sources of food and local shops. Fishing, Skiing, Snowboarding, Swimming, Hiking, Scenic Views, On-Road and Off-Road adventure opportunities.

Have stayed here the last few years. Staff is nice and quick to respond when asked for things. Got to try the fireplace this year. Stayed in the same room as last year and there were improvements to the room. Will stay here again.

We didn’t arrive until 9:30pm and our room was freezing both then and when we woke up. There was a deck next to our windows where people went all afternoon, and I could clearly hear them. I thought the windows were just really thin. Turns out that our windows had been wide open the whole time. It gets down to near freezing at night and people were able to hear my husband and I talking. Why would the staff just leave them open like that? The shower was very janky and difficult to use as well. The internet was slow. On our second night our tv randomly turned on at full volume, scaring us awake. Our remote didn’t work so I had to unplug it. Seems like another room had the remote to ours for whatever reason. Overall not a pleasant experience, and I generally only care about having a clean place to shower and sleep, not much else.

Check in was easy and hassle free, all the staff were friendly and helpful, they introduced all things about June Lake to first time visitors, making it easy to understand the place, I would recommend this place and look forward to returning next time.

This is a wonderful retreat location and perfect for fishing, paddleboarding, hot springs and many more attractions. The best attraction is the lovely staff - Nicole, Darla, Daisy, and Angel (room cleaner). The entire staff is professional, yet they make you feel like family. Kudo's to the owners,

We arrived at 1:30pm, got told that our room is not Ready yet, as checkin time is 4pm. So we left again. At 3pm got a call that room is ready, we got the Keys just to find cleaning not even started yet. Had to wait in the car until 4:34pm.When you enter the bathroom the light goes on automatically and a very loud Fan Wakes everybody up.Toiletpaper is see throughRoomsize and Ambiente is 60 Dollar motel style and not lodge. The rooms are cleaned well though, still way to expensive at 160 Dollars.June lake is a nice place

We stay there every year. In the heart of town so everything is walkable. Their staff has always been so accommodating and friendly. The rooms are nice and comfy and come with everything you need. Really what more could you want.

A wonderfully cozy motel from which to visit June Lake, Mono Lake or the ghost town of Bodie. You can have a delicious breakfast in the Tigers Bar directly opposite.
