Nice cozy and if you want a quiet place this is it!
Rooms: Small but cozy!
Food & drinks: They offer cookies, oatmeal small items but this is helpful for some.
Noteworthy details: The details stated are correct, I was expecting a fireplace in our room but it did not have one. I misunderstood or at least I thought all rooms had a fireplace. That is how the details sounded.

I would love to give this a 5 star review across the board but I need to keep it real. I would definitely stay here again but there are a couple of shortcomings but they are certainly outweighed by the positives!!!
This place is beautiful and the views are stunning. There is a huge balcony area that has a ton of places to sit and relax. The house was clean as was my room. Just a warning if you are riding a Harley or other large bike - the driveway is paved, but very steep and almost a “switchback” to turn up it as you arrive. Could be daunting if you’re not an experienced rider!
So here’s the “real” part. I stayed in the bedroom above the pool table area (The Serenity Room). I went to bed early because I was leaving kind of early. People (a family I think) were downstairs playing pool until about 10. They weren’t being wild or disrespectful but it was more than obvious that they were right below me. I don’t recall seeing a “lights out” time for the pool table area. This COULD be a real problem if there were a group of party people staying who wanted to play pool into the wee hours. That being said, I don’t blame anyone for enjoying what’s provided!
The other thing was my bedroom floor. It was the squeakiest floor I have ever walked on. It probably didn’t bother anyone else at night, because it was the pool table below me, but I’m kind of neurotic about not being a bother to other people.
The positives of this place WAY outweigh the minor negatives I mentioned. If you want to go to a beautiful setting and “get away from it all” - this is the place!

Beautiful place to stay while visiting Julian. Quiet rooms with beautiful views, lots of amenities. There is no staff at the location but are ready available when called. The hosts are very generous with snacks, teas, coffee, hot chocolate, and fireplace log,.. additional items also available at the shared kitchen at the self check-in office. Didn't give 5 stars for the room because of the tight door and loud bathroom fan. Kids loved their comfy beds but they were squeaky. My kids love this place and didn't want to leave; especially after couple days of playing and cuddling with the cute cats on the premise, they have already begged me to revisit soon.

Came here with my grandmother recently. Just needed to get away from the city for a day, and this cozy place was just the refresher we needed.
Shoutout to the owner for picking up on my social anxiety and remaining polite and brief.
This place was very clean, had super friendly staff, AMAZING views, and the bed was great for my bad back. Honestly could have slept all day on that thing. The cats hanging around outside were adorable and well behaved!
We plan to come again with our family!!

It was our 31st Anniversary getaway...there wasn't any interaction with the host, it was pretty much a self service environment. Lots of games, pool table, beautiful mountainous view, fireplace and they even provided late night snacks and make your own breakfast (which I hadn't expected ?) I thoroughly enjoyed the HONOR system...nice touch, brings me back to the "Old Days". I don't like intrusiveness on my privacy, anyways! Thank you for making it so easy to check in & out!!! Will be back!!!

Very quaint lodge, loved the accessibility to everything in the common room. My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary and it was magical. If you don’t mind there being another family or couple sharing the common room, then it’s really lovely. Everyone was respectful and having our own space was terrific. I highly recommend. It’s also SUPER close to the town Julian so it’s so convenient to get food and such :)

The Tucker Peak Lodge is a five-star place to stay...nestled on top of a ridge with a picturesque view you will find a cozy multiple room lodge with everything you need for rest and relaxation...coupled with the short drive to "downtown Julian," and multiple great places to hike, the Tucker Peak Lodge experience made the birthday gift to my wife a truly wonderful present!

Stayed here with my friends for a night. Using hairdryer suddenly breaker down. We tried to contact the phone number we were told but nobody responded. We had stayed in the dark till next morning. That wasn't fun stayed.
