Rooms: The room was quite clean and had lovely views. The duvet and throw pillows, however, were very old and dirty.
Safety: The power cut off when we used the microwave. The breaker box switches are wired backward and are very loose. We never received a code for the door. We had to leave it unlocked when we left.
Noteworthy details: The grounds need a lot of TLC.

This is a great church to go to! I love Pastor David Jeremiah, he's a very good preacher!

We stayed at the Manzinita cabin. The cabin was wonderful - clean, comfortable, private. It had a real rustic country feel but totally modern and efficient on the inside. Being able to see deer graze along the property in the early morning was a real treat. I would definitely come back again.

My family and I went to Shadow Mountain Ranch for a fun winter getaway and we stayed in the Manzanita cabin. We loved the homie feeling and the set up of the cabin itself with a beautiful dining room, a great kitchen, two awesome rooms with their own bathroom. The door to the bathroom in the first bedroom did not close properly but otherwise, there was nothing else wrong in the cabin. The master bathroom was amazing and spacious just as the photos showed. The living room was really nice to spend time watching movies, reading, playing games, or talking by the fireplace. The dining room has a beautiful view and a really nice sitting area nook to read or lay down. The patio is also really nice to sit outside and relax. The Wifi wasn’t the best but if you plan on disconnecting then it’s shouldn’t be an issue since there is still signal for your phone in case you need it. The only thing I disliked personally was the very overdone and distasteful decor. There is no need for decor based on indigenous people when the option for nature like animals or forest or mountains is possible and would make more sense.

Nice little get away. We had booked our stay at the gnome home but a maintenance emergency happened the day before our trip and we were placed in the manzanita. It was still a nice stay. Beautiful views, you can see so many stars at night. One of the restrooms in the unit was out of order, but the larger master bathroom was still available. I planned on using the bath but the water was yellow, I'm assuming from the well water or from the copper fixtures. Other that these issues I would definitely return.

We rented their house and patio for 4th of July and it was not good. The owner kept being very negative and offensive, always trying to shut down our bbq even though we paid for it. I wouldn’t stay there even if it was free.
