Everything about this place is magical. You can tell they put a lot of attention into curating a place for relaxation, fitness, and exploration. The pool setting is ideal and the location is perfectly convenient to enter the park.
I will stay here again!

So glad I booked The Desert Lily for one night. My room was small and simply furnished, clean and fresh. I had the large, fine living room in the main building all to myself and could sit and read undisturbed in the evening before I went out and enjoyed the starry sky.
It is an incredibly beautiful place and I would definitely come back again.

It used to be wonderful when Carrie owned it. The new owner, managed by High Desert Homes, has multiple poison bait boxes on the grounds and on the natural terrain. The grounds are a toxic mess. Do not go here, they are killing the wildlife and destroying the ecosystem.

You want a place to recharge and relax this is it. I spent all day at Joshua Tree hiking and staying here was refreshing. The morning was breathtaking.

It's never been easier to feel at home in Joshua Tree than a stay at The Desert Lily, especially one of the cabins! My husband and I spent a weekend here with our dog and it was perfect.

Great stay near Joshua Tree. The location is very convenient for accessing the park. Carrie was full of recommendations in terms of where to eat or which trails to try out. The grounds were beautiful and provided a nice setting for breakfast, which was delicious. The rooms were on the smaller side, but provided a comfortable night's sleep. There was firewood provided to build a nice bonfire at night. Would recommend staying here while visiting Joshua Tree.

This place is near perfection! When you have a question they get back to you right away. Check in was easy. The drive there (during the day) no problem. The only issue was NO HOT WATER on several occasions. The only reason I write this is for them to hopefully get this fixed. Also, having to run the water for a long period of time in the desert is just wasteful. I don't like that either. Otherwise, LOVED the place!

Our experience was pleasant, very peaceful and beautiful place to stay. At night the view of the stars and city lights are stunning. The service from management was great, attentive with excellent response time. Thank you and keep up with the great work.

Nice place very close to the park. Spectacular view. Comfortable bed. The kitchen, which is shared with a couple of other rooms, is excellent and well stocked. Knives were even sharp! Sheri and her team are lovely people and easy to communicate with.
