This was a great and convenient place to stay! My husband and I stayed in one of the castle towers and it was perfect. Cozy and had everything we needed. The views of sunrise and sunset were both incredible, and the host responded quickly to any questions we had. Just a short drive to Joshua Tree National Park.

The shipping container home was truly an amazing stay! Such a unique property, and the little touches inside the unit made me feel right at home. The view on the rooftop deck was incredible, and it was the perfect location to witness the sunset and sunrise. The hosts were very kind and generous, and the food from the room service was great! Highly recommend this spot for anyone traveling to Joshua Tree, and I will definitely be back for a longer stay. Check them out!!

The booking process was lacking. The initial email form notice, included my full date of birth ( personal data breach) went into junk email. But no crucial details like dates of stay or cancellation policy was provided ( upon search of e-mail ) . No further communication was sent until a couple days before date. The check in text/email was a complete surprise so we ended up paying for full cost of stay that we had no idea was booked or able to visit.
They need to encrypt personal data and should send confirmation details that include dates and policies before hand.
To clarify your response:
We must have uploaded information directly into your system ( which I assumed is secure) to request a stay. That initial and only email (outside of the checking text/e-mail sent 2 days before booking date ) was not sent securely nor encrypted included my personal information but nothing about a reservation. See photo. This is why I gave you a low score for poor booking process. Personal data security is an issue.
Our multiple exchanges via text were about my surprise when I received checkin info 2 days before scheduled date. We did not stay at the property on the dates you charged us. It was empty and untouched by us as we had no idea we had a confirmed booking.

Stayed here for two nights at the Guard Tower. Very tiny rooms, but very nicely designed. You got all you need for a comfortable stay.
The owners are very friendly men. One of them checked us in. The other met us during dinner one night and we discussed long about the set up and inspiration.
Sauna and cold dip are must !

We stayed at The Castle House in campsite #1 on our RV trip to Joshua Tree. The campground is breathtaking with beautiful views of the mountains and incredible stargazing at night. It’s an incredibly clean, quiet, and well kept space! The location is a short drive from the park, a few horseback riding spots, and great restaurants/shopping. The hosts were so responsive and provided amazing recommendations for the area! They are truly the best and I cannot recommend staying with them enough! If you’re looking for a nice place to stay while immersing yourself in nature on your next camping/glamping trip I highly recommend this spot!
PS Ryan, we weren’t abducted by aliens ?✌️ that we know of..

If you're seeking a unique desert escape, The Castle House Estate in Joshua Tree is the perfect spot! We celebrated a special 40th birthday in the Vista Container tiny home, and it was nothing short of magical. The home itself offers cozy, stylish accommodations, blending rustic charm with modern amenities. The wood fire sauna and cowboy pool were absolute highlights, providing relaxation amidst the stunning desert backdrop. The hospitality was top-notch and our host, Ryan, made us feel right at home. This was our first glamping experience, and it certainly set the bar high. Exploring the nearby town of Joshua Tree and Pioneertown added to the adventure. Highly recommend for anyone looking to make special memories in a beautiful setting!

Beware! We paid a premium price for tower 1 because we thought it would include a bathroom but it didn’t. The outdoor shared toilet (not private) was semi functional because it didn’t always flush. The outdoor shower was unusable due to strong winds.

Incredibly rude customer service accusing us of irresponsibility after we described the incredible false advertisement happening at this place. After seeing the white castles described in the website, we pulled up to our housing only being a small, underwhelming house not even located with the rest of the buildings, near the promised pool. Beware of booking this area, expect disappointment :(
Nearby activities: Nothing is near here, our room isn’t even near all the accommodations (close proximity was promised though)
Walkability: Expected to walk across the desert-
Noteworthy details: You’re on your own with this place.. customer care was not helpful at all, got mad at us, and was incredibly salty.

We slept in a bungalow. It was huge and beautiful. Very spacious and well furnished, three great bedrooms, huge living room, great kitchen, large terrace and a fitness room in the garage. Just great!
The price-performance ratio was also great.
The guys who rent are also incredibly nice.
We had a really nice few days and would come back in a heartbeat.
Thanks for a great time ?

Our family of 5 stayed in 2 yurts and had an amazing experience!! The property is so beautiful and unique. We got to watch a beautiful moonrise and stargaze each night. The desert/boho vibe was just what we were looking for! The hosts are very nice, responsive and attentive too! Definitely recommend experiencing this place.

Our family of 5 (kids ages 5-9) stayed in the bungalow, which was spacious, and extremely comfortable. The beds were legitimately glorious, and numerous rooms meant we could spread out. It was clean, the hosts were super gracious and responsive. Wonderful time!

This place was great! It so easily could have been cheesy and cheap but it was classy, not cheaply constructed, and quite nice. Than the close proximity to Joshua Tree Nat Park was just icing on the cake. Highly recommended. My only knock, would be my suggestion to remove "Pool" from the description of the property
