“This was a great and convenient place to stay! My husband and I stayed in one of the castle towers and it was perfect. Cozy and had everything we needed. The views of sunrise and sunset were both incredible, and the host responded quickly to any questions we had. Just a short drive to Joshua Tree National Park.”

Loved it!! get yourself some dinner and plan to eat at the super awesome table in the court yard by the pond and under the lights......if it isn't too hot!
Definitly recomend and would stay there agin!!!”
“This place is amazing! It was our first time glamping, and AutoCamp was the perfect choice. The staff were friendly and quick to assist with any questions. They also have a small store with snacks, drinks, and merchandise, in case you didn’t pack enough food. I still recommend bringing your own supplies to cook, as their menu is somewhat limited, but the options are decent if you don’t feel like cooking. The airstreams were more spacious than I expected, and the bed was incredibly comfortable! Having your own outdoor dining area was a great bonus. Even though I'm not usually an outdoorsy person, this stay made my visit to Joshua Tree much more enjoyable.”

“In early 2024 my family and I stayed for 3 nights in the Desert Rambler and Mojave Wanderer 2 which are units 1 and 2 at the Joshua Tree roadside motel known as Spin and Margie’s Desert Hideaway. Quite a bit of disrepair going on with both of these units, windows and door locks broken, heating units not working properly. Tiny little showers. Noise from adjacent unit came through the walls. Swimming pool is pretty but not heated. Strange communication with the management service, called A Grand Welcome. Their request for a 5 star review lead me to compare rates and see that we would have preferred to stay elsewhere

Pool has been completely filled in with dirt, the once glittering little gem of the desert lost it pool. So sad to see.”
“Such a cozy and comfortable hotel. I just completed a drive across the country staying at hotels with a similar price point and this was by far the best, hands down. Super comfortable room with nice bedding, and the sun came in through the window in the morning when I opened the blinds, which I absolutely loved. The back seating area is so charming! Loved drinking my coffee and reading the book outside. The owner is incredibly kind and accommodating - I couldn’t say nice enough things. Truly made me feel like I was at a home away from home and went above and beyond for a comfortable experience for a single traveling female. Location is absolutely fantastic too. I have my car but it was nice to be able to walk to a spot for dinner, and so many of my favorite shops are nearby within walking distance. 10/10.”
