“Insanely great gift/book/art/greeting cards/notebooks/cool stuff store. One of my favorites in the area. Difficult to leave the shop without buying at least one new book. Gallery exhibition changes monthly and always has great original and unique artworks. A must see stop when visiting JT.”
“Any level and any pilates curious person would be welcome here, this studio is small but life changing. It caters to all experiences and with great humor and joyfulness, I cannot recommend enough!”
“I stumbled upon Shari Elf’s shop and studio in pursuit of her crochet museum and am so glad I did. I had the pleasure of meeting Shari and she was kind enough to show me some of her current work. She has reproductions of some of her art on fabric and magnets for purchase at a very reasonable cost ($2-10). She also has art applied to upcycled clothing. Only reason for removing one star is the clothing is arranged by art piece rather than size or type so it was difficult to shop. Bring cash or she accepts Venmo or cashpay(?).”
“Thank you Zarrin and Starman Steve for a spectacular tour of Joshua Tree and the universe! Zarrin has profound knowledge of the geology, geography, biology, and even rock and roll lore of Joshua Tree which he weaves into a truly engaging visit all while scrambling over rocks and climbing up formations. Steve knows his night sky and showed us views of the moon and Saturn, Vega and the North star, as well as many constellations that we would never have understood on our own. We even got lucky and watched the Space Station streak across the night sky at just the right moment.
Oh, and Zarrin cooked us some great food for dinner.
This is the most five star tour I've ever been on! Thanks guys!”
