The rooms were clean but yet very small. We did not know the water was contaminated until we were leaving. The front office didn't tell us anything. The best thing about this place is the maid service and The view rooms are maybe slight bit better than a roadside motel. But fortunately directly across highway is a very nice campsite that had way better views and much better price for what you get. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this hotel because of the water condition we were not feeling well after we stayed there. Only to find out there was salmonella in the water and we were brushing our teeth with it and showering with it and didn't even know until we're leaving and they had signs that said caution boiling water but nothing about the contaminated water. I would definitely be very wary of staying here and will not be recommend them to any of our friends.. I write travel articles and this place only will get 2 stars because of the house keeping. If not for the clean small rooms with paper thin walls and loud guests ( not the guest fault) the we could even hear them lock the door since the walls were so thin.

We came here many times and the experience was wonderful. Service was great and they accommodated us with extra things we needed for the stay. The fresh air and the views were the best part of our stay. Will definitely be back soon.

the bed was miserably uncomfortable. felt like an old metal spring mattress that should have been scrapped 20 years ago. I barely got any sleep and now this morning my body aches and my back is sore. I will not be staying here again unless they do a major update on the mattresses.

Had a one night stay at Ocean Cove Lodge & it was excellent! Room was warm, with a fireplace & radiator. Clean (thanks to the housekeeper, Claudia). Anna at the front desk waited to welcome us, even though we arrived quite late (10 pm ish). And as a bonus, there were cute little cats everywhere! We will miss Lennie forever (until next time.)

Have only ate at the restaurant and the bar, so that's all I can report on. The food was really good, and the beer selection and prices were nice. On a nice day it is enjoyable to sit out front, on bad days the inside lounge area works, but it is the room back behind the restaurant that is a hidden gem, with a pool table (typical bar box) and comfortable seating. WiFi access is free.

Staying at this hotel was truly magical! The eucalyptus forest and the scent of the ocean created an unforgettable atmosphere, while the view of the endless ocean was simply mesmerizing. The bar impressed with a variety of flavors, and the food was a true culinary journey. I can't help but mention the attentive staff and comfortable rooms. I hope to return here again and savor this amazing experience!

What a little gem. Rooms were super nice for an older place, actually some of the nicest hotel rooms I have been in (although they aren't modern luxury resort style rooms). The cleanness was perfect, the bathroom is small but shower is AMAZING, and the room smelt amazing, almost like fresh laundry. 10/10 will book again if ever in this part of the world.

Very rude reception and they told me to cancel my Expedia reservation because they charge almost 2x as much as Expedia costs. She pulled out her phone and said call and cancel now! Also there was a cat all up in the breakfast food area table which was cute so 2 starts instead of one ...was so put off by reception I wouldn't recommend going all the way out there!

Amazing wild coastlineFood & drinks: Relaxed environment and excellent food. Great had salmon ceasar salad. Most delicious salmon ever.Fries calamari also so good!
