Been going here for years albeit sporadically. They have upgraded the rooms. Nothing fancy...simply prized for the quiet, beauty and gorgeous location.

This turned out even better than expected. We stayed in the Pelican Suite, which was right on the water and had a private balcony. It was sorta dicey finding it at midnight, because it was across the road and down a bit from the main lodge, but we managed! The rooms are on both sides of the highway, so we actually were right over the water. The suite was spotless and well laid out. We could definitely hear the guests staying below us, even though they were speaking in a normal voice and not being loud. And we were a little surprised when they walked right past our picture window to get to their room! But we would definitely stay here again. There's no cell service, but the wireless calling worked out pretty well.

Motel quality at hotel price.
The area is undoubtedly lovely and special, but Jenner Inn is counting on that way too much. Our room -- Baby Seal-- resembled a motel room in terms of comfort and amenities. We could hear every word our neighbors said through the wall, and their tv, all evening long. There was no luggage rack, no nice things in the bathroom, no hospitality binder or info on the area, no place outside to sit and enjoy the view, no table to have a coffee or snack at, no fan, a broken corkscrew and supremely uncomfortable pillows (very hard and oversized). We had a wonderful time in the region, but will stay elsewhere in the future.

Very cozy little historic bungalow, which was originally a house for the local lumberjacks. You even have your own gas fireplace, which is very pleasant in the cool temperatures in the evenings, even in July. The small house is equipped with everything including a small kitchenette and even though it is located behind the street, it even offers a sea view. Very nice staff and great quiet location in Jenner, just a few meters from the sea and the Russian River and a few minutes from the seal view. The gas station is also conveniently located a few meters away.

Beautiful location on the Russian River. The foliage surrounding my bungalow added to the serene environment. I couldn’t bring myself to turn on the TV, chose to enjoy watching the bumble bees pollinate, hummingbirds feed and the birds hanging out on the sandbar.
The young ladies at the front desk are sweet and inviting. The cell service is pretty much non-existent but it’s nice to completely unplug sometimes. Cafe Aquatica is across the street from check in, it’s fantastic and all organic.
Rooms: Old school charm with older style furniture. Comfortable bed and bedding. Refrigerator, microwave, coffee and iron.

We stayed in the Milky Way Room and loved it. It has a huge deck, easily 300 square feet of terrace space, an enormous bathroom with soaking tub, and unobstructed views. Maria at reception was a wonderful hostess. We had a relaxing time with our two doggies. The view of the river is absolutely absorbing. We will be back in July and staying in the Gray Whale Room.

FALSE Advertising!
They are LYING ? on their Google description. No Restaurant, No Bar, No Free Breakfast..
BIG 'Kayaks' sign.. No kayaks(only at the independent business 100yds away)
Fireplace out of order in Starlight room.. Bed good, view from room good. Big lounge chair stuffed under the desk?
Out in the middle of no place.. With the limited options in the area of these LIES make a big difference??

We had an excellent stay at Jenner Inn. We were in the Fort Ross suite, which does look old but adds a rustic vibe to that. First night of our stay the heater malfunctioned and we called the emergency number provided.
Archer was really nice to put us up immediately in another available room that night. They guided us how to get there and we got lucky to have a river side Boat House room.
Great service & people. Good for a quiet relaxing stay.
Rooms: Rooms depending on which one you pick.
Fort Ross is the only one with TV. Looks a little old but it’s well maintained.
Boat House is newly renovated, with a bath tub and excellent view of the Russian river
Food and drinks: Nearby Aquatica Cafe server really good sandwiches and coffee with an outdoor patio overlooking therm river
Driving to Duncan Mills is short and lots of shops there to explore and eat at.
Noteworthy details: Wi-Fi works pretty well across the Inn

Very clean when we went in. Upon check in we were told that there was an ant problem and would I like to have some Windex to kill the ants with (?) I declined because I have not heard of this. We didn't see any ants so we went to dinner, came back and went to bed. I woke up to our bed full of ants and the kitchen counter covered in them (there was nothing left out because we went directly to bed upon our return). My purse was on the dresser and it was covered in them as well as the inside also. I just hope I got them all out ... For the price over $340 for 1 night we should not have had to deal with this problem.
Very disappointed.
Safety: Bathroom has a step down and in the middle of the night you tend to forget this and my husband almost broke his ankle. I twisted my ankle from the step down to the dining table. This is the 2nd house - gray - from the office.

The Jenner Inn is as comfortable as it gets. The staff is extremely kind and warm. In addition, it's like staying in your own little luxury cottage. My family and I traveled there for vacation in February and were astounded not only by the breathtaking views, but also by the remoteness. While there is no cell service, you won't be yearning for it. If a quiet, relaxing, cozy place is what you're looking for this - this is the epitome of it. Also, there is a FANTASTIC coffee shop right down the street - best latte I have ever had. Be here or be square.
