“This turned out even better than expected. We stayed in the Pelican Suite, which was right on the water and had a private balcony. It was sorta dicey finding it at midnight, because it was across the road and down a bit from the main lodge, but we managed! The rooms are on both sides of the highway, so we actually were right over the water. The suite was spotless and well laid out. We could definitely hear the guests staying below us, even though they were speaking in a normal voice and not being loud. And we were a little surprised when they walked right past our picture window to get to their room! But we would definitely stay here again. There's no cell service, but the wireless calling worked out pretty well.”
“My spouse and I had an absolutely lovely time at Fort Ross Lodge! After a long day of hiking we were looking forward to a nice soak in the communal hot tub, but it was unfortunately out of commission during our stay. The staff was kind enough to open up a private one at an empty unit for our use and it was magical with a really special view when the fog would pass. Will definitely return on our next time in CA!”
