“Sierra veterinary clinic is amazing. The staff and Dr.’s were so compassionate and understanding in the toughest decision I’ve ever made in my life and that was to put my little dog down. Dr Wittman was amazing and I’ve never come across any Dr like him. I brought my little dog because she was in respiratory distress . She was in congestive heart failure and I had never been to this vet before so I wasn’t sure what to expect . As soon as we entered they noticed my dog having problems breathing and whisked her to the back to an oxygen cage where she stayed for a day and a half.The decision was made that my dogs advanced heart failure was making her suffer, the dr. Asked if we’d like one more night with my baby to say our last goodbyes . So we got to bring her home . The next morning was tough and it was like every staff member knew and was super compassionate. Everything went as smooth as it could have gone. They put us in a room where after we had our Baby put to sleep we could just go directly into the parking lot instead of having to endure going through the waiting room full of other people’s fur babies. I highly recommend Sierra veterinary clinic. They are by far the. Very best! Thank you”

“I called yesterday, as my vet for my cat passed away last month, and asked if I could bring my cat in to get her nails trimmed. I got an appointment for this morning at 9am, and met Jillian, the Vet Tech, she was amazing. I previously with my other vet had to have my cat sedated to get her nails trimmed. Jillian understood my cat, as she is a calico she knew she may be difficult. She and another young man tech were able to gently put her in a towel and clip her nails without effort or incident. I cost me $23 which I thought was reasonable, and I was out of there by 9:20a. Very Happy! Jillian is amazing! I highly recommend Mono Way Vet. Lois, Sonora, CA”

They treat our pets how we would want them to be treated, are understanding of their needs, helpful with care recommendations, and as accommodating as they can be for a vet that’s very busy! Reception is always very kind, and they call to confirm appointments and even though we’ve had to reschedule appointments in the past for one reason or another, they are always understanding and kind. “Dr. Pollard is an amazing Veterinarian and his staff is top notch. His receptionist is very knowledgeable about vaccinations and general pet and health care and was so helpful to me in my time of need during an emergency for my family's dog. From experience he is a no frills vet and low cost. I highly recommend this vet for all pet care needs”

“Jamestown Vet is helping to deal with our local feral cat populations by allowing people to bring in cats to be spayed and neutered a few days a week without an appointment. This is such an essential service since other vets are weeks or months out for appointments.”
