Service was cheerful and delightful. I enjoyed how the service kept an eye out for thieves. The place was clean and tidy. Variety of candy for anyone. There was ice cream in the back and wooden toys. I spent a good hour in there without realizing the time.
Vegetarian options: They had lots of vegetarian candies
Dietary restrictions: Yes, there was candy there for those who have dietary restrictions and it was also a wide variety for them
Parking: You can park near the shop in the street or find a nearby parking lot. Plenty of parking.
Kid-friendliness: The candy shop is all about children with wooden toys, of course candy and ice cream.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchairs are able to get through the doors and wheel down the wide aisles

This is like Old Time Candy Store you can get the great ice cream here they make excellent fudge and a lot a lot of candy and brands that you just don't see anymore like Beeman's gum reads Lifesavers and oh probably of the largest selection of salt water taffy ever I've seen in a long time if you want some unique candy or something to remember your childhood from and you're in Jackson this is a place to go it's right up there it Rivals with and it's right up there with the candy store that's in Old Town Sacramento they're both both of these are favorite candy stores I have 11 grandkids and when they come up to visit I have to take them to the candy shop and I like their fudge it's about the only candy I eat anymore but I think you'll be pleasantly surprised of the selection that they have and it is definitely worth the stop

If you’re over 40, this place will likely bring back memories from your childhood. From the taffy bins to the giant chocolate bars, espresso drinks in the back next to the tubs of Rocky Road and vanilla ice cream to bring together both the past and the present. Decent prices and overall quality. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

'23/5 1st time customer, though have live in/visited area for past 45 years:-- While on a small, gold-era, historic main street, there always seems to be street parking somewhere, or a small parking garage as come into main street. Be prepared to walk. Also, note the old sidewalks are narrow and uneven.-- Once inside, be prepared for an amazing selection of candy in barrels, hung on walls, stacked on shelves, and fresh made in cold cases at the register. Plenty of hard-to-find candy from the 70's too--Chick 'o Stik, Abba Zabba, etc.-- Head to the back for a dozen ice cream flavors to choose from.>> Bottom Line: a must stop! Your sweet tooth will thank you.

Came across this place in search of ice cream, and what a surprise. This candy emporium is simply amazing and not to be missed. If you want a run at nostalgia, see some favorites from a bygone era, or just want to feel like a kid in a candy shop and drool... definitely come here (just don't drool!).The ice cream shop is tucked way in back and in the process of getting there you have to pass hundreds of candy options, plus a whole huge section of puzzles off to one side. There's a large selection of ice cream flavors, most from standard brand, and I opted for the pineapple coconut on a waffle cone while my better half had the peanut butter chocolate fudge. YUM!The scoop was plentiful enough and $5. each. The entire store is a feast for the eyes. You can pick up a plastic carry container and just go around and pick whatever candies you want, including a vast array of taffy. Remember when movie theaters had a wonderful tempting array of candy in boxes at the snack counter? Good & Plenty, Dots, Junior Mints. They have them, plus a wide assortment of PEZ and Jelly Belly.Well worth a drive to Jackson for a visual and sweet treat.

Really!! Minimum $5.00 for debit and credit cards?? A few points ... firstly MAKE IT CLEAR at the ice cream and candy counters counter that there's a minimum order ... not doing so is just plain discourteous ... but more than that ... have you missed the trend everywhere that there's (supposedly) "a cash shortage so please use the exact change or even better use a card" ... IMHO the minimum charge concept is completely unjustifiable and don't tell me it's because of the "high" credit card charges ... the amount of the charges (maybe) as much as 2.5% to 3% which in the big picture is small potatoes ... it's not my job to pay your business expenses ... you should manage that in your price structure ... there are a (very) few merchants who add a credit card fee (which is still unacceptable but slightly better than a minimum) and fortunately there are always alternative service providers who don't. We see restaurants wanting to add a fee for employee medical, or for Covid expenses, or for their kitchen staff and so on ... screw me once shame on you, screw me twice shame on me. Won't (and don't) go again to those business who want to involve me in their business expense amortization ... it's not my job ... here's the deal ... you provide a service or a product at a reasonable price and I'll pay you for it ... it's that simple. Ice Cream was good but just one star for your business practice. Wish I could give you a zero. You owe me a dollar fifty ....
