Owner was very rude and disrespectful towards veterans! If I could give negative star rating I would! At checkout I kindly asked if she offered a veterans discount and she just laid into me about how she doesn’t offer veterans discount and kept going on and on then said that if I asked for a different kind of discount maybe she would have given me one. I was completely taken back by what she was saying that I was at a loss of words in the moment. I will never return, there are other stores that are far better than what she has to offer. Do yourself a favor and stay away, not worth your time!

We were shopping and I found a couple of things that I liked. Went to pay, and as always, my husband asked the owner if they offered a Veterans discount, as soooo many businesses do, restaurants, bakeries, Homedepot, Lowes, and movie theaters, to name a few. The owner looked at us and said, "Let me tell you a story and don't take it the wrong way, but my father was in WWII and he would have never or even considered asking anyone for discount for being a Veteran. Now, if you had asked me for a discount, I might have given you one but not for being a Veteran." Now, how was I supposed to take that?! I took it as she was the most ignorant, rude, and condescending person I had ever met. I will never set foot in her shop again! There are plenty of other sweet little antique shops to visit. Veterans beware!!

Owner is psychotic. Incredibly rude and disrespectful. She yelled at me for using my phone in her store thinking I was taking photos. She was so angry she was shaking and getting into my face. She’s lucky I was feeling like walking away because it could have gone a different way for her. Despicable.

Seriously pay attention to what everyone is saying here. Owner is literally psychotic. Incredibly rude and disrespectful. She yelled at me for using my phone in her store thinking I was taking photos. I certainly wasn't taking photos of the dog shit stuff in her store, but if I was, so what? She was so angry at the thought of this that she was shaking and getting into my face. She's lucky I was feeling like walking away because it could have gone a different way for her. Despicable.

In Jackson for the weekend, lots of great little shops but went in here and the woman working at the counter was extremely rude. Seemed annoyed when we asked her a question about an item and then I heard her lecture another customer who came in with small children about their face masks. So much for small town hospitality. Obviously we did not make a purchase. So much for small town hospitality.

Extremely disappointed in this shop, we entered wearing our masks and were immediately told by the lady behind the counter "You do not have to wear masks here", during this difficult time when we all should care about each other and be careful not to infect others, I was disheartened to hear this lady does not care and goes out of her way to spread the disease if anyone coming in her shop should be infected, so sad to encounter such an uncaring individual :(

Giving 1 star because it didn't give an option for 1/2. She's very rude. Screams at people walking in wearing a mask and throws them out. What if someone has Cancer or a transplant!?! And it looks more like a "b" rated 2nd hand story instead of an Antique store. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

Wow. My sister and I were shopping in Jackson this afternoon. The mask mandate is back on in Sacramento county and we wore our masks into all the shops as the Delta variance is escalating. Wandered into this store and was told by the owner "you don't have to wear masks in here!" We said thanks and kept our masks on. It was pretty junky and so many soaps it was overpowering w perfume even tho we had the cloth masks on. As we decided to leave after about five minutes in the store we stopped and looked at this woman's shop windows. Literally filled from top to bottom with HATE rhetoric. Clippings and nasty memes she'd printed from the internet of pro Trump b******* and hate. Not a display of antiques or old memorabilia like you see on Main Street shops. It was like the rantings of a bipolar Trumpian lunatic. Seriously disgusting. I strongly recommend avoiding this shop and the hateful loon that owns it. I've never seen anything like it. So sad. Jackson is such a quaint little old western town and this nut job feels the need to politically vomit her small minded nasty b******* in the display window of an antique shops. We didn't linger but I wouldn't be surprised if I'd seen a Hitler memorial shrine by the Open sign. Grotesque.

I am still in shock from my experience at this store. I walked in and started browsing. I hear someone yell from the back "you don't need that mask in here". I was wearing one as the new guidelines have mask wearing back. I looked around for a few minutes and was leaving. Something caught my eye in the window. The actual display window is for street view, a wall to wall hate display. Offensive photo shopped pictures, hateful images, clipping from bizarre sources. The entire store front window, displays of hated, bigotry and lies. Truly one of the most shocking and offensive things I've ever seen. Why would you spew hatred as your greeting for your store????? A young couple was about to walk in as I was staring at the horror, they too were wearing masks. I said "look at the hate display before you enter". They did. They walked away. But not before they told the next family going in, who also walked away. Bizarre stuff. Offensive, grotesque and downright scary. There are so many quaint, lovely stores in this area and in all of Amador county. There is nothing but vile filth in this place. I am still blown away. Wish I had noticed it before I even stepped foot inside. Shows you what kind of twisted ugliness is in the owners heart and mind. Like anyone out for a nice shopping day wants to see your Qanon conspiracies as they stroll by. Creepy

If you love antiquing and happen to be near Jackson, check out the Rusty Rose. It is right on Main Street. It is a clean and tidy shop. They have a good inventory of china, Corelle, Knick knacks, costume jewelry, fine jewelry, and a whole heck of a lot of other stuff. The inventory is in good shape. Items are well priced.

I was shopping in Jackson for Christmas gifts. Went in this place because there were some cute stocking stuffers in the window. I am not surprised she kept those price tags hidden! When I reached to check the price tags..the owner (who didn't greet me even tho I was the only person on the store)she glared at me. Arms crossed and angry looks the entire time we.were there. I am not some unruly grade schooler that needs to be watched! Yet..she felt she needed to apparently. I perused the store for a.bit...maybe 10 or 15 minutes...all I could find, was a little froggie keychain for my step daughter. So, I walk to the register and Ms. Marathon Glarer is obviously annoyed about something. I set the frog down and she snatches it up and says *This is all you're buying?* *Yup* *Well, you were here long enough* The frog stayed with her...figured she needed something to make her smile. I wouldn't go back to this place to.save my life.
