Had a pocket watch and my 50's Omega Seamaster worked on by him. Very fast service and appreciated the good communication. I'd recommend his services to anyone.

I have a Linden wall clock that needed repair. I was told by the owner to bring the clock to him ,5 weeks later I was told it was ready. I went to pick it up and was told all it needed was cleaning and no new parts. It was $345.00, it seemed high. Competitors charge 1/3 of that. I asked did you replace anything ? No he said. He lost the original back on the clock . He then tried to blame me for it. He put a piece of cardboard on the back. I ask. Him , \" how Much is the clock worth ? \" He says $900.00 . Found out the clock is worth $350.00. Not good person, zero character Crook .

The proprietor is knowledgeable, skilled, and highly trained. His grandfather and father before him had been watchmakers and he is carrying on his family's tradition. I trust him implicitly to work on my Model 1908 Waltham pocket watch as well as replace the batteries in my new-ish wristwatches. He is a true professional. Highly recommended.

Went in the A.M. to have my Hamilton repaired. He quickly diagnosed the issue and had my watch repaired and in working condition just a few hours later. Reasonable price, fast, and knowledgable.

I went in asking for a value of watch. He asked if it's battery operated or self winding. I said I didn't know. He proceeded to open the back of the watch and said "oh it runs on battery". He said "that'll be $10". I said "what? You didn't tell me it's going to cost $10!". He said "you think the labor is free?". I said "I didn't ask you to do that". He said "$10 regardless, you want the battery or not?". I was in disbelief. I said "if you're going to charge me $10 for nothing, put the battery in". We had been there many times before but I will never go back there again. I should have gone to the police.

This is a fourth generation watchmaker and repair shop. From the minute you walk in the door you know that you are at a true artisan's workshop. It takes an hour and a half to get there from my place, but if I ever need a watch or clock repaired, I'll drive the distance.

Horrible, do not take your watch here if you care about it. Returned watch to me broken when it came in working.

Hank is truly a craftsman he loves what he does and it shows in his excellent workmanship. I drive 25 miles, one way, just to get him to put batteries in my watches.PS. Definitely not a ‘crotchety old man’ he is absolutely delightful with tons of wonderful stories!

My partner took his watch here to get the strap replaced. I bought him a watch he has wanted for some time and the price tag was $2500. He bought a custom strap to go along with it. Not wanting to damage the watch he brought it to the professionals. The gentleman in the shop tried to no avail on replacing the strap what he did do successfully is scratch my partners new watch in 4 different places. Then when confronted he denied ever damaging the watch. Attempted to buff out the damage which was unsuccessful all while being disrespectful and accusing my partner of "wasting his money on cheap junk". It is a solid brass watch from Italy, hand made, hand carved, and most definitely worth every penny spent. This man was rude, unhelpful, disrespectful and could not take responsibility for damage he obviously did to the watch. I wouldn't take your watch here unless it's a repair you could do yourself because he clearly does not know what he's doing and will blame you when his inabilities come out. Awful businessman definitely will not return and I suggest you try the other spot in town as well.

What more can a guy ask for? I walked into Hank's shop and was greeted with a hearty hello and introduction. This shop is as legit as can be. Hank is a 3rd generation watch and clock guy and his 19 year old grandson works side by side with him while Sinatra is playing in the background. I brought my Dad's old chronograph watch in for a new battery and once over and my 1980 Citizen Automatic Dive Watch in for a complete overhaul. The job was done perfectly and when I came to pick up and pay, Hank and I shared some great stories and lots of laughs. He's a straight shooter and calls it like he sees it. I miss that type of character in men today. If you're a snowflake, this might not be your shop. But if you're cut from the stuff people who built our awesome country from, this IS your shop and Hank IS your guy! A+
