Gave me incorrect and false information about being in-network with my insurance coverage after I specifically inquired about the issue after my provider changed. They then billed me at the out-of-network rate and told me it was my fault when I brought this to their attention. Very unprofessional way to run a.business. Avoid.

The great doctors are constantly overshadowed by incompetent administrative staff. I have been sent the wrong bills numerous times, overcharged for appointments, and more. Do not recommend if you're looking for a professional business.

My experience with Christine was just amazing. Let me tell you, no drug could ever reach the high I get in my sessions. Attention UC San Diego students, this place is dank, the best quality; I highly encourage my classmates to go here. I feel that Acacia caters to every single molecule in my body. In other words, what I'm trying to say is that this place crushes the rest, nothing can compare, and I don't think any organization will. It took me like a few clinics before I found Acacia.

My experience in therapy sessions with Cassy Brezner were always helpful and supportive. Cassy is so genuinely kind, is a great listener and always tries to think of useful strategies that are particularly useful for your situation and mindset. Thank you, Cassy!!

We have a great therapist here, but I just called to reschedule (not cancel) our appointment tomorrow at 2pm. They wanted to charge me a $50 fee because I didn't call within 24 hours. No, I called within 22 hours. And the reason I'm rescheduling is because I'm legal observing George Floyd protests, so it's not like we had advanced notice, either. It's just disappointing when companies are prioritizing money instead of kindness and flexibility-- especially at this time, and especially from a counseling center. I wouldn't choose them again.

I've heard a lot of good things from friends about Acacia, however I had a pretty bad experience with one therapist and feel a bit too intimidated to talk about it.

I have been coming here for over a year now and this is by far the best place in town for counseling I have ever been. For someone college aged, the therapists really know how to connect with you and can understand exactly where you come from when you need to talk. Robbyn is very kind, warm, helpful, respectful, and understanding. I don't know where I would be without her and I am so grateful she has been there for me. As long as I stay in this town I plan I'm working with her, and since she is also available via conference call from longer distances, I may use that as well. (Sarah the receptionist is also very sweet!) I only wish this place had more therapists so that they could help more people like me. I also know two other people who have come here and also rave about the therapists (not sure their names). It is awesome they have expanded to a second office in Goleta in addition to the Isla Vista office where many students can easily walk to their appointments. If you're new to town or even if you're not, check this place out. I can guarantee you won't be disappointed.
