I was like a kid in a candy store here. I couldn't believe the selection in the produce section, the frozen food section and the seafood section. All of the products looked great. I will be going back again, though it is a bit of a drive from my home.

I can't say enough good things about this place. Great prices, excellent food, kind of crazy, but overall my favorite Korean market. The ladies giving out samples where so nice and helpful. The environment is exactly what you expect from an ethnic market. For sure coming back to this place.

Zion Market offers lower prices compared to H Mart, but their return/refund policy is notably strict. Be cautious, as their produce tends to be less fresh and has a shorter shelf life. I've faced difficulties with returns multiple times, and today marks the last straw for me. Despite a 2-5% higher cost, I prefer H Mart for the peace of mind with their easy return policy. Also their manager is hella rude. TL;DR: 1. Zion is cheaper but has challenging return policies. 2. Expect less fresh and quickly perishing perishable goods that are hard to make claims. 3. Consider paying a slight premium for H Mart's better return experience/fresher & lasting produce.

I am surprised Zion has an average rating of 3 stars. I think this place is fantastic. They have a huge selection of vegetables and fruits that are fresh, lots of fresh meats to select from, and your typical selection of Korean processed foods. The one plus about this place is that it's much more reasonably priced than their H Mart competitors. Parking can get wild on the weekends so be prepared. The service workers are average. They aren't rude but they also don't go above and beyond which is something I wood expect from a grocery store. The store is also cleaned and stocked regularly. Their aisles are also spacious for the many people who come to shop. It's a must for me when I am craving Korean bbq to prepare at home.

Glad they've closed. You can't read anything on the shelves. We need a market like Sprouts or Whole Foods. Wild love to have a Trader Joe's, but there a two in Irvine.

It has Paris Baguette and Chocohodo inside which is nice, but disappointed that it's not as big as GaJu Market used to be and didn't carry the poki candy nor have the hodduk nor hot sweet potatoes outside.

Today 11/26/23 around 3pm my mom, my 3 year old baby and I were at Zion Market to buy some food, we saw some apple juice samples on the table so my mom and I tried it first, then when my mom was going to grab another one for my baby to try, a Korean lady employee came and stopped my mom, my mom was so nice to say anything back and walked away but I was standing a few steps away and saw everything. That wasn’t right for her to do that to my mom and baby so I came back to the table and grab one, I told her it was for my baby she hasn’t drank any, then the lady angrily hid the sample tray under the table!!! Seriously??? It was just apple juice in those tiny sample cups!!! There were 3 of us and we only took 1 per person! That was extremely ridiculous, cheap and rude. I had never encountered anything like this before. Be aware when you go to Zion and want to try their samples ?

Clean, and good price. Napa cabbages look good and sell for 99 cents per 2 pounds.

Still 10 minutes before closing and the clerks inside refuse to let me in to pick up something quick. Person inside said, nah I'm ready to leave. Nah, never giving you any business. Bye.

This place has promotions on many products. They try to survive, I can tell. H Mart does have better products. But I was here today to check what's on sale. I was at the counter, but the cashier and manager were so unfriendly. The Korean manager seems so angry all the time. Shw was yelling and screaming to the cashier when she made a mistake. Seriously, I feel this way every time when I shop at zion Market. They need to improve the service if they want to survive...

I want to give ZERO if I can. They don’t allowed me to bring my service dog (with certificate) inside, because “your dog is a big dog and others may be afraid”. I have no idea why a service dog cannot be allowed to come just due to it is 40lb. Do the government have any policy about a dog with 40lb cannot be a service dog? I don’t think so:) when I told her I could leave my dog inside my car, she said “ it’s too hot outside, are you sure?” Sure for what??? You don’t allow me to bring my dog and you also worried my dog inside the car alone?

I have passed by this Zion Market so many times in the last few years, today I finally made it inside to check it out. Its size is of a typical American supermarket, even slightly larger. There are a wide varieties of vegetables and they all look fresh. I didn't see a butcher counter but there are many pre-packaged meat for sale in the meat section. I did pass by several sampler stations but no one offered me any samples to try. I am very impressed by food selections in the deli section. There are pre-cut sushi rolls, sliced beef tendons, cooked whole ham hocks, among others. I was seriously tempted when I saw Cocohodo, Mochicat, and Paris Baguette in the back of the store. I was able to resist only because I just had lunch. Overall, I find Zion a clean, easy place to shop. Prices are on the high side. It is busy but not crowded. I am not sure why there are many trash cans in the produce section although I am sure Zion has a reason for that.
