This is my first time renting storage. After signing the contract online, I went to Woodbridge self storage. Because of the GPS error, I drove around the Woodbridge self company for nearly an hour, but I couldn't find the correct location. Later, I found the destination with the patient guidance of the staff of Woodbridge self company by phone. After I entered the reception room, I was greeted by a Psoperty Manager, his name is Hakseng N. As soon as I heard him speak, I knew it was the gentleman who directed me to come by phone. Hakseng enthusiastically asked about my storage needs, provided an assessment of the size of the storage area I needed, and introduced various storage locations for comparison, allowing me to find the storage space that best suits my needs at once. Hakseng is able to provide customer service from the standpoint of the user. I am very grateful to him, and I will continue to use Woodbridge self storage in the future.After manager Hakseng N's kind, patient and methodical explanation, we signed the contract with confidence and moved the furniture into the warehouse quickly. Thank you very much for this excellent and professional service staff, and I sincerely appreciate it.Customer Lili Hsiao

Wow the people that work here are extremely rude . I went in to ask about renting a unit and the property manager Mr Norm frowned at me and asked what I would be storing ? I told him my stuff , and he told me to leave . I called before I went in and he said that they had plenty of units . I believe HR discriminated against me because I'm African American . I don't think that was acceptable.

I've been a customer for over three years. I received a call this morning about an hour ago, stating that my monthly balance was $107. I tried to pay it through the automated system. It wouldn't go through. I asked him to call me to settle the account then 30 minutes later I got a call and it's now $132 to clear my balance, because further fees were assessed, these people are dishonest don't waste your time. Very unprofessional and very rude.

I've been using WBSS for about 7 years now and it's been great! My belongings are safe and the units are clean and well maintained. The office staff is super helpful and friendly too! The property manager Hakseng has helped me multiple times and he has always been gracious and delightful to work with. Highly recommend if you're in need of a storage facility! And ask for Hakseng too, if you need assistance!

I have had a storage place here for quite a few years. I have had various size units based on our remodel and now just need a little extra space to store things. The management has always been so helpful when I need to upsize or downsize. They are very good at explaining your options and payments plans. The facility is super clean and convenient. Highly recommend

I was shown storage lockers of different sizes and two locations, Hakseng was so kind and patient as I wasn’t sure of which I needed. He explained everything to me and was very helpful.

Warning to anyone looking to move their valuables into Affiliate "Woodbridge Storage located at 5020 Barranca Pkwy, Irvine CA 92604 Phone 949-857-4900 I've been threatened verbally and by letters from the RUDE property manager Hakseng Norm from Storage America Affiliate "Woodbridge Storage located at 5020 Barranca Pkwy, Irvine. I was charged $180 for 35 days prepaid by my Amex card on a Friday. Hakseng promised this was a very secure facility and you need a password to get in or out. This was a LIE! 2 days later on Sunday, I came by to put things into storage. The security gate was WIDE OPEN for Any thieves with a pad lock cutter to come and cut the locks and steal everything. I NEVER ACTUALLY MOVED ANYTHING INTO the storage units AND CANCELLED THE CONTRACT Exactly 3 days later. It would have been sooner however NO one EVER answers the phone #949-857-4900. Amex charged back my initial fees because although Hakseng Norm (property mgr) will try to LIE and threaten you with contract language that states NO refunds, Woodbridge is in breach of their own contract since they promised a Secure and pass code entry and exit. This was NOT the case as at least 5 different tenants stated that the security gate is ALWAYS BROKEN DUE TO A SO CALLED SOFTWARE ISSUE, especially on Sunday and Monday when No one is at the office. This is why Amex Reversed all charges and sided with me. When I called Hakseng just a few days after signing the contract, I told him that I would NOT be moving in due to FALSE ADVERTISING AND I don't feel safe with my belongings in an unlocked, facility. Hakseng thanked me for letting me know I was not moving in and said NO Refunds! And hung up on me. 6 weeks later, I get Multiple threatening letter from Hakseng (see posted photo) threatening to call the sheriff on me and file a criminal summons on me and will start charging me extra $25 credit card charge back fees, even though I NEVER moved anything into the storage Facility! By far the Worst experience ever with anyone and Hakseng is Very unpleasant and unprofessional. Thanks to Yelp for showing the REAL 1star reviews as I tried to post on Google and this company clearly pays a marketing company to remove low star reviews. Google has hidden my 1star review

We had a good experience yesterday Hakseng, was very knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. He showed us some possible spaces and we decided to rent right away. We actually signed up and moved in right away. This facility is close to our home and the property is kept up, and clean. Thanks Hakseng

I asked the property manager Hakseng Norm for a summary of all storage charges since I first stored my items at Woodbridge Storage in 2012. With no explanation of the reason he said that "management" would not allow the printing of such a summary report (which is available to him). He only offered a printout of all individual monthly statements (100 or so!). I told him I'm doing accounting and need the summary report but he did not budge. Finally, I called the corporate office, which happens to be in Irvine, and left two messages but did not receive a call back. These storage companies are happy to take your money every month by automatically deducting the rent from your bank account, then raise your rents exorbitantly every year but Woodbridge Storage and parent company StorAmerica do not want to give customers what they want -- actual customer service. I'm taking my items out of Woodbridge Storage as soon as I can.
