The people in the Deli section literally looked right at me and ignored me for like 5 or 6 minutes. Not doing anything special, just ignoring customers. I started to walk away, turned around to see if it mattered. Nope. They couldn't have cared less. I grabbed a salad and told the lady at the self-checkout, but I don't think she gave a rats ass either. You suck Ralphs.

The Good- Big store with good selection and usually well stocked- Open early and late (6 AM to 1 AM)-Their house brand merchandise is pretty goodThe Bad- Big fat shopping carts in narrow aislesHey Ralph's. Your FAT shopping carts not PHAT (if the word still exists anymore). They are great if you have twins that you want to put in the shopping cart. But you put displays in the middle of your average size aisles, and I bumped carts with several other customers. Are you doing to start selling big, fat seasonal balloons or more patio furniture? I A store manager once told me that larger carts encourage more purchases. But we all have budges, and don't buy more because your carts are irritatingly big. I hope you get rid of these, but if not, I ain't going in there. Ain't gonna bump no mo with a big fat cart. (There was a classic disco song with cart = woman).Otherwise, I get most things I usually need when I'm here. The produce selection is good, The staff has been helpful the times I've needed them to help me find something. But really, I'll find another Ralph's or another supermarket that makes it a better shopping experience without having to fight the carts.

Apparently, they don't want return customers, nor do they care about all of the competition among grocery stores online and physical these days, because they actually argued over a $20 sunglass return WITH A receipt AND tags still artached!! My bf and I bought a pair of sunglasses in a Palm Springs Ralphs and when I got them back to the room and saw they were crooked on my face. We didn't have a chance to return them in PS, so I went to this Ralphs on my way to work. The checker said that different stores have different inventory so it's not that simple. This, as she stood in front of the very same eyeglass and sunglass rack. I replied, that is not my problem, that is Ralphs issue, and they are a chain. She asked another checker, then brought me back a gift card instead of cash. I will use the gift card for groceries but really, they could not return cash? Bad enough these stores are saving money and benefits by using self check out registers, but they aren't even providing service that most stores provide these days. I'm taking my money to Stater Bros far cheaper, and Trader Joe's from now on.

I used to live 1 min away from the Ralph's in Anaheim hills weir canyon and I bought at least one cake from the bakery once a month. I even ordered a customized birthday cake which turned out amazin HOWEVER When I moved to Irvine, this Ralph being the closest to me was bound to be my go to for cakes. I'm so sad to be writing this review but for the past 6 months every time I got a cake I was dissatisfied. Not only are the 1/8 inch cakes poorly decorated, smaller than before (and more expensive), but the cake itself is always extremely cold and frozen even though It's right there to grab and not supposed to be freezing cold. When you bite into it you will know what I'm talking about. Also, I ordered an 8 inch cake for Father's Day and it turned out to be horrible !! For every selection I made online for the baker to follow, they messed up. I asked for whipped cream, got butter cream. I asked for roses, when I came to pick up she was still working on it, even though it was supposed to be ready by then. Then she had to come and find me in the store to tell me she doesn't know how to do roses 10 min after the time I was supposed to pick it up. The cake looked quite messy after it was done but I was in a rush and didn't have time to fix it. I'm literally never coming back for cakes here. They suck! I will drive more and pay more to not be this disappointed again.

I live within walking distance of this Ralph's. I do most of my grocery shopping there too. Last week I went to the bakery and bought the marshmallow cookie dough chocolate cake. It was the best cake that I have ever tasted in my entire life. I am a big fan of cookie dough. I highly recommend it to anybody who loves chocolate cake. The bakery at Ralph's is absolutely delicious. Every time I go in there the customer service is absolutely wonderful. The only thing I don't like is the women's bathroom. It never seems to be completely clean and the deodorant that they use in there it's not pleasant to smell.

Shout out to John the store manager. He was on a phone call but took the time to help me out and multitasked. Led me straight to the first aid section as i was unfamiliar with this store locations aisle. Thank you John! Very hardworking and friendly!

I was really wowed by Nicky who works the self check outs at this location. Great sense of humor ( always cracking jokes), genuine, knowledgeable and all around awesome customer ambassador for this store. He is absolutely the friendliest and most upbeat person I have yet to meet working in a grocery store. I imagine he is well liked by everyone....I am willing to drive across town to start going to this location because of Nicky!

This review is for Nicky! The past couple of times my husband and I have run in to get a few items and he helped us check out quickly. He is so positive and helpful, we always leave with a smile on our faces. Thanks Nicky!

Today I learned that Ralph's doesn't accept Apple Pay! I was stunned to say the least. It is almost 2022. Also, the cashier wasn't friendly at all. It's so slow here too. This Ralph's in general feels old and dingy. I definitely prefer going to the new Stater Bros in the Kensington Park plaza even though Ralph's is closer to me because that Stater Bros is a way more pleasant shopping experience.

I ordered a golf themed sheet cake at your Harvard Square Ralphs for a friend's retirement party. Red velvet, cream cheese center and whipped white frosting with a fun golf cart toy at the 18th green depicted on top. It was fantastic. Everyone raved about the look and the taste. Great work Ralph's. steve Pearson Irvine,Ca

I stopped by and it was really busy. You can tell they were short staff but the manager on duty Brianna was awesome. She was running around with a smile on her face .

Before proceeding to my long trip, I went in to use their restroom. I found an attendant close by so I was able to use the facility fast. Surprisingly it was clean and stocked up ( toilet seat cover, toilet paper, hand soap and hand towels). There are 2 cubicles and quite spacious. Masks are required and social distancing is observed. Lots of free parking.
