Absolutely loved the company when I refinanced in 2021, but they switched to a new payment site a couple months ago and everything has gone downhill. The new site is very clunky and is missing basic things like escrow autopay, their customer service is outright rude, and they don't care about their customers.

Contacted Watermark last minute after two other lenders fell through on my home mortgage. They provided the most competitive rates and closing costs and assured me they could close in the two week window that I had. Both Dana and Monica were so incredibly helpful, kind, professional, and diligent. Was my agent's first time working with a lender who was remote and she had a wonderful experience as well. I definitely recommend!

I'm long due for a BIG THANK YOU to Watermark for giving me the "too good to be true" rate when I refinanced , despite that I still had debt. MICHAEL was my agent, and he was unbelievable patient , answering my calls rite away. I'll keep my 2.6 rate till I die.

I've gotten five loans through watermark, all done by Kory Matthys who has been nothing but great. (He's done several loans for friends also) When comparing loans, they always come in at least a quarter point below anybody else.However, one star off because I've been having troubles getting my loan payments posted on time. But then I got the help of Edie Carter who explained to me that they'd just left a company that was servicing their payments because of complaints. Edie was extremely helpful. I called angry but within a few minutes I was thinking of inviting her over for dinner. She was that helpful. I hope to buy a third investment property in the coming year and when I do, I'll be calling Kory again. Sorry this took so long Edie. Thanks for your help.

We absolutely loved our experience with Amanda Blankenship (and Dana Chupp) at Watermark Home Loans. Amanda was so knowledgeable and so available - I'm not sure how we would have managed without her! She and her team helped us problem-solve and overcome little hurdles and hiccups and made sure the whole home-buying process went smoothly for us. As first-time home buyers, we needed a little extra handholding, and Amanda was there for us.10/10 communication; 10/10 competence; 10/10 customer service.

I wish i could give more stars. Martin Franco and his team were the best. Closed my home within a month! Martin was always there to answer all my questions as a first time home buyer, he was very patient and professional. I would highly recommend Watermark to anyone wanting to buy a home.

From my first call to funding my refinance cash-out home loan, Brian Alterman of Watermark Home Loans was ace! As most people do, I started in a sea of online recommendations. I read reviews, picked out my top contenders and made phone calls. Brian distinguished himself from all the others. He was straight-talking, did not smooze, charm or otherwise try to manipulate me. And Watermark simply offered the best rate/points/deal for my needs. From my first call to closing, it was less than 30 days altogether. Brian and his team were efficient, on-point and delivered time and again. Five stars + ~ don't go with anyone else!

I worked with Ron Trejo to obtain a loan for an investment property. He and Janeen Cadwell provided excellent service and helped me close despite several obstacles out of our control. Our rates are great and no one could match them. We couldn't have pulled it off without the great dedication from Ron and Janeen. Highly recommend!!!

Charles Newsome is a perfect Mortgage Banker anyone can ask for. His professionalism and communication is at his best. Always ready to assist and working to help you outside of normal office hours. From the first conversation about shopping a rate through closing, he and Dana Chupp - (Processing Team Lead) were always there to assist. Both were having passions, detail oriented and works for your success. We close within 25 days and that was the key highlights of an entire transaction. We will definitely recommend Watermark Home Loans and team. They make our entire first time home buyer process stress-free and convert it into forever friends.

After shopping around I chose Watermark for several reasons. Not only was the rate the best online but after talking with Jack I felt comfortable in my decision to refinance my home with Watermark. Jack was very friendly, knowledgeable and Not a "shark" like many others who called from other companies. As much as refinancing can be, we had fun! Genelle helped with the back end paperwork and they both are amazing. We jumped through some hoops but we did it with style. Just finished refinancing my home with Watermark and it was a great experience. We even closed early. Highly recommend Watermark and especially working with Jack Olsen and Genelle Steward!

I had a great experience with Watermark. It is a great company to get a home loan from. They have one of, if not the best rates, in the home loan industry. Not only that, I also had an excellent loan officer in Travis Lamm. He was pleasant & very knowledgeable! Travis was patient and he responds to questions quickly. His team was likewise great to work with and got my loan processed within the time frame I was told it would get done. I would not hesitate to recommend Watermark as a home loan company and Travis Lamm as a loan officer to anyone who is looking at getting a home loan.

I recently closed a home loan with Watermark and Charles N. went above and beyond the service needs to complete this transaction. He was in constant communication both during regular and outside office hours. He was always keeping me up to date on the rapidly changing interest rates and sharing the market data so I have all the info to make an informed decision.I asked a lot of questions on many requested documents. Charles explained why they were needed and what information to include. As soon as documents were uploaded to the Watermark loan portal, there was someone taking action and pushing the documentation to the right parties to ensure the loan closed on time.Even as I was debating with myself whether to lock in a rate, Charles was immediately responding to my messages. That is high quality service. He knows how to build trust and confidence, and I have no regrets selecting Watermark for this home purchase.

Working with Watermark was an absolute pleasure from beginning to end. They completed our refinance in in just over 4 weeks from start to finish and were prompt and professional at every turn. Whenever I had a question about the process or the status of things, one of their helpful representatives quickly responded and knew exactly what they were talking about. Even with the few unique scenarios that occurred during my underwriting (as I assume everyone will experience), they were quick to understand the different circumstances regarding my specific financial background and make sure the process continued on track. I've never had such a smooth mortgage process, and I can only hope that the high bar this group has set forces others in the industry to rise to this level of customer service. I can't thank them enough, and I would highly recommend their team. A special thank you goes out to Douazong and Stephanie who walked me through this entire process. I don't know if you can request specific agents at Watermark, but if so, I'd work with those two again in a heartbeat!

This was our 2nd experience with Watermark and we are consistently impressed with the people and their process. Douazang Lee and Laura Satalich were great partners and worked with us well to make sure we closed on time. After comparing to other lenders we found Watermark had the best rates and we had high confidence they would be able to deliver with high quality and on time.
