When we bought a table with 4 chairs and 2 rocker/recliner chairs with ottomans, a lounger, a glider sofa and a fire pit with 2 chairs made by Tropitone we were told they had a 4 year warrant. After a couple years the finish started to flake off. We called Patio World where we bought the furniture and asked about the warranty and was told yes it was 4 years. Patio World would put in a claim for us if we text pictures. We text the pictures a couple months ago. Today a box with paint was left on out door step with instructions to repair the furniture. We are in our 70's and not in the best of health. There was a warning in the box saying that what we were sent to fix the furniture was known to cause cancer. So their 4 year warranty is a do it yourself fix. Don't buy Tropitone! They don't stand by their patio furniture. They need to change their warranty to 6 months because it last longer than 6 months before it starts to flake.

Replacing the slings on the chairs is HORRIBLE! . I am a mechanical engineer who worked at GM, Toyota, and other companies and I can tell you the engineers did not design it for service. It takes a lot of time, strength, finesse, and patience. Very frustrating considering how expensive they are. . Each dining chair took me almost an hour. The chaise lounge took even longer. The reason is some of the assemblies are welded which means when you pull the sling through, it is very tight with no slack. So you are fighting friction and you have to pull hard one side at a time and inch by inch. The assemblies should be with bolts so you can pull the sling through with plenty of slack and no friction. Other patio furniture is designed like this and it takes about 5-10 minutes with low effort. . I WOULD NOT BUY TROPITONE FOR THIS REASON They don't even take the time to respond to these reviews. So they don't care.

53 footers w/sleepers use the Muirlands entrance, 40ft containers and daycabs can do as you like, I am looking out for those that have sleeper berth and not trying to damage their equipment or the property at this location. That has happened in the past per one employee, truckers trying to BLINDSIDE into door #4. There is no room unless you're gonna attempt a BLINDSIDE backing into Door #4 which I was given for outgoing loads. On the building it said SHIPPING but they had me go down to the RECIEVING side to check in, must be something unique about the loads location in this warehouse. Everyone here has been nothing but nice, Roberto will give clear instructions on what they do, tandems to the rear and chock the wheels and turn in your ignition keys for safety. I hope this helps you out.

There is a major, dangerous design flaw in Tropitone Kenzo outdoor furniture! On both our loveseat and swivel chair, after only minimal and reasonably gentle use for only a couple of seasons, a bolt holding the seats broke in half, sending sharp metal flying across our porch. Fortunately, the first time it happened, it missed hitting our daughter's face. She could've been severely injured if it had hit her. The distributor was responsive the first time this happened and they worked with Tropitone to replace the loveseat, but with a $150 shipping fee. When the new loveseat eventually arrived, it was apparent Tropitone realized there was a problem because the design had been modified, with extra aluminum support under the bolts. The following season, it happened with my husband in our swivel rocker, the sharp end of a bolt slamming against our porch screen. (Note- we are all relatively thin people, so not a weight issue.) We contacted the distributor again who informed us Tropitone would replace the chair but was requiring a ridiculous $400 fee. We could buy an entirely new chair frame for that amount! So, in actuality, Tropitone doesn't truly stand behind its product. In our opinion, this furniture with the original design and/or weak bolts should be recalled and at the least, replace broken furniture for no charge to the customer. There is also a very loud, unfixable squeak that developed in our rocker within the first few months of use. Very disappointed. My grandmother's Tropitone furniture from the 1960's is holding up better than the current Kenzo furniture. Sad.

I’d love to attach a photo of our furniture that we spent $10,000 on but a year and a half after purchase and it still hasn’t arrived and no refund is being offered. When I called I get a support person reading a script blaming the pandemic for the delay. Funny, when I go to Home Depot I see plenty of patio furniture for sale.

Tropitone of Irvine California is an unreliable company. They make patio furniture and we ordered two chairs June 5th of 2021 and they said they would be delivered in about three months. In addition we ordered velcro fastening arm pads. The chairs were finally delivered Nov 3, 2021. It took over five months to deliver. Tropitone told our retailer the armpads would take another month. Tropitone kept telling the retailer that it would take another month. AFter about six months Tropitone informed us they no longer make the armpads After leaving us hanging all of that time. Our local retailer started looking for the fabric so she could have someone make them for us. That took about another six months. It took a year and 2 weeks to get our completed patio chairs. That is ridiculous. Recommend that you steer clear of Tropitone. They are not customer oriented.

Does anyone else notice something wrong with this picture of the inside of a market umbrella? Yes, that's correct. The wire cable is going through one of the drip holes and NOT through the pulley!!! Would you be surprised if this defect caused the cable to break? No. Is this a manufacturing defect? Yes. Does Tropitone accept any responsibility for their product? NO. But they'll give us a "one-time accommodation to purchase a replacement for $350." I certainly can't recommend their products if this is their customer service!!!

Beware. After the first year their warranty requires you pay for shipping to get your item repaired. They charge a ridiculously high shipping cost and we were told it will take 28 weeks to fix one chair! This chair failed 54 weeks after purchase. Buyer beware

This is very beautiful furniture and we thought priced fair when we purchased at patio world however I wish I saw these reviews first. With very little use, we purchased in July received at the end of July and by September 4 one chair already broke. We had to submit a warranty claim through patio world and it’s a month later and we still have no resolution. I now wish I spent more money on a better brand with better reviews. Even the retailer patio world has not been good at following up with me and holding my hand through this ordeal! Don’t Buy from either!

I purchased 2 replacement slings for my glider 2 years ago. After a year, they appeared discolored but I assumed it was just dirt. I washed the slings but the discoloration didn't go away. They aren't faded, the glider is in the shade. Now the material, which seems to be a plastic if some sort, is sloughing like dead skin when I rub it. This is clearly a defective product but because it's been over a year Tropitone won't honor the warranty. It didn't help that they and the patio store I purchased them from were closed for months due to Covid-19. I could have purchased knock off slings for a lot less. Tropitone has lost a valued customer over a set of slings that probably cost $5.00 each to make in China.
