Ric is a wonderful trainer who listens to your needs and he doesn't up sell you on other products or services like other gyms. I went to him because I wanted to shed my post-partum weight after having my third child and I wanted to improve my running speed and efficiency. He helped me become more flexible and he integrated functional fitness into my fitness routine to help me become stronger. Since seeing Ric I've ran a couple of half marathons and just ran a full marathon! He helped get my fitness back. Not only is he a great golf fitness instructor, he is also a great functional trainer and mentor where he will help you achieve any fitness goals you have.

Ric's facility is the perfect place for me. Although he specializes in working with athletes, his tailored approach helped me immensely when we had to adjust our workouts after I was in a car accident. By showing me the proper exercises to help mobilize and stabilize my muscles that were in rehab helped me heal faster and get back to my normal routine.

I wonderful private gym with a friendly staff and a unique blend of weights, golf instruction as well as cardio. This is the place without a doubt if you're looking to learn how to play golf or trying to improve your game. Rick is extremely knowledgeable and well connected in the golf world.

I love Ric's approach to holistic fitness. I get a full body workout, a stretch session, fitness and health coaching within each one-hour session. The gym is stocked with a wide variety of cardio, free weights, kettlebells and sport-specific equipment which keeps each workout unique and challenging. If your a golfer... the added bonus of working out with an expert golf coach makes the Edge Functional Fitness a no brainer.

If you are looking to fix your golf game, add strength and/or flexibility, Edge Fitness is the place to go. Ric is an amazing trainer. His knowledge of how the body works in conjunction with swing mechanics has helped me add 10-20 yards on each of my clubs and has helped lower my handicap. I'm also in great shape and feel great. I would highly recommend Ric and the Edge!

I have been training with Rick for 18 months now. He has helped me become stronger, more flexible, and in overall better physical shape. I have achieved significant results in only 18 months, more than what I did over 10 years of going to the gym. My 16 year old Wasabi golf girl Kaitlin represents Huntington Beach High School varsity golf and also competes in the SCPGA. With Ric Lerma's fitness coaching tailored specifically to golf, she has been able to stay injury free and has increased her distance. Best of all, she really enjoys working out and learning the ropes of how to compete and stay tough mentally. That's saying a lot about Ric coming from a teenager. #wasabigolfgirl
