My wife and I had the pleasure to support John and his business. We were on the hunt last spring of 2022 for wedding name signs on Etsy. Because of the outrageous pricing and non guaranteed of workmanship from Etsy seller for the sizes we wanted we decide to look local. That's when I happened to find John and Grace on yelp. I contacted in John in April 2022 to set up consult via phone and then met up with him for sampling of color and thickness of cuts. John was blessing in disguise for his work the editing and proofing and vector formatting was professionally done given we had many changes to make it as perfect. The final results John and Grace had given us during pick up exceeded what we expected. Let alone on our wedding day our guests family and friends and event vendors were all in awe with the look and design presentation of John work. We will recommend John and Grace to anyone for events or wedding signs you can't beat John on his pricing and professionalism. He gets it done for you as a small business. We got more to look forward to with John for other woodworking projects in the coming futures! Thank you John and Grace your signs made our wedding day special! We really love them so much they are a part of our decor display at home for years to enjoy!

Sent an Illustrator file with my artwork & they were able to finish the same week. Paid via venmo once they confirmed the art was okay to get the project started. Had to go back and forth a bit with them about where to pick them up, since I guess they have several locations that they work out of? Met in a parking lot which was different, but no complaints! Couldn't be more pleased with the quality of the work or the price. The owl ornament i designed had some delicate spots, but they delivered a great finished product. Etching was deep and dark, edges were clean. Communication was patient & professional. Since I did the art they were $15/ea. I will definitely be back.

Cannot recommend this business enough. I had previously ordered a name sign for my daughter's birthday party with a guarantee that it would arrive a week prior. Well, 5 days before her party, still no sign and no response from the Etsy seller. I frantically called The Burner Society and they were able to prioritize making a new sign for me in less than 36 hours. Grace was exceptionally kind and accommodating, and everything was so simple and straightforward, from approving proofs, making payment, and Grace kept me updated via text. Love supporting a small business, especially one that provides as excellent of service as this one does. They deserve their 5 star rating, highly recommend. Also - they make great product! We were so happy with the result.

John did a beautiful job engraving a set of knives and a chopping board for me. The communication was very quick and clear, John drove out to OC to collect and drop off the items, and suggested a few suitable fonts that worked really well. I would highly recommend John and his team for your engraving jobs.

We envisioned the name of our restaurant on a pizza peel. What we designed on paper, John artistically captured on wood. Before we hung it at the restaurant, I could not stop admiring it, for it gave a name to our dream. Many people have stopped by already in admiration of our sign. They say it is the most amazing sign along Main Street in Seal Beach. Thank you John!!!

This review is long overdue; but better late than never, I suppose. My apologies to John. I needed a party favor for an upcoming family reunion I was hosting, and decided to put together little books filled with heirloom family recipes, and tie on a wooden spoon, engraved with the theme of the family reunion, the family's name, and the date. I found a few reasonably priced engraving vendors on Etsy, but they couldn't guarantee delivery on time, so I started looking locally. I was terrified I'd have to pay an exorbitant amount for the engraving if buying locally. Then I called John. He was kind, patient, very reasonably priced, and seemed to be interested in my project. At his request, I bought 6 dozen blank wooden spoons, and took them to him. Although he is no longer located in Orange County, he graciously met me here to pick up the spoons. (Thank you, John!) A day later, he sent me a picture of a sample. It was perfect, so I had him go ahead and process the rest. He met me in OC again to drop off the finished spoons. Every single spoon he engraved for me was perfect, and my favors were a huge hit among my family. I couldn't have done it without John and Burners' Society. I highly recommend this business. If you need engraving or burning done, this is your guy! You should definitely give him a call.

I needed a last minute custom laser-engraved gift for an employee, and the company we used prior couldn't meet the turnaround time of 3 weeks. I knew it would be challenging to get the project done over the busy holiday season, but I found The Burners' Society and decided to reach out after reading their positive reviews. John was quick to respond and give me a quote. He was super responsive during the entire process and delivered the product to me in record time. It looks great -- we're so pleased with the result and wouldn't hesitate to work with them again!

John was amazing to work with. I had a custom plaque engraving made for a friend who recently lost her 4 year old little boy. John helped me pick out the most beautiful piece of oak, worked with me to find the perfect font and completed this beautiful piece in 1 week. Truly a professional and master of his craft. I had a pretty complicated project I needed to get done and John did an awesome job helping me finish it. I wanted a custom engraving on a cornhole set and he did it PERFECTLY! He also had to un-do a staining and vinyl sticker job my friend did BEFORE he even got to the engraving. The cornhole set is now exactly what I wanted!

Above and beyond service! Awesome customer service and extremely pleased with my business logo and menu. John helped with perfecting of my menu and suggested some modifications. He even told me how to care for it. I will be returning for my other menus in the near future!
