Chargers are maxed out at 56kw/h. Probably so that it takes longer to charge so that you end up paying more for parking.

You have to pay for parking to charge here. It’s $1.50/15 minutes. I won’t be going back but it is a well lit and clean parking structure.

TESLA CHARGERS: You need the code AS you enter. Even after learning this and hoping to have had receive grace from the parking office, I was charged the incorrect amount. Office staff was NOT HELPFUL.

Charge at your own risk. Everything is ill-marked so good luck finding it. And after you do THEY WILL CHARGE YOU $12 for parking. The trick — and it is a trick — is they say they will only validate for 45 minutes.Which means they don’t pro-rate your time — you end up paying the full rate of $12 for the “privilege” of parking there for 46+ minutes and up. Just as if you’d parked there for lunch or some other reason. It’s beyond enraging and preposterous. The arrogance of treating people this way is frustrating and disappointing. It’s not the money as much as it is the principle. Why choose such a location if you can’t make accommodations for your customers to utilize it!?Sad!

This shouldn't be advertised as a Tesla supercharger. Entering the garage is complicated, especially with cars behind you. My app gave a gate code that didn't work. The car navigation gave no code at all. 75kwh and charged at 36kwh, not parked near any other charging cars. Never again... this would SUCK for someone depending on this spot with a very low battery.

If another Tesla owner didn't help me get in I wouldn't have been able to get the code for free parking. The instructions are very confusing.

Revised on December 23rd, 2022So this plaza now offers free parking for Tesla owners for up to 45 minutes. Just simply type in the 4 digit code at the entry (you can find the numbers on your Tesla dash screen when you select the corresponding Supercharging Station), and you'll receive up to 45 minutes of free parking. But since this station only offers a measly 72kW max charging, you may not be able to completely top off your Tesla. But still, it is most likely the cheapest charging spot you'd find in the area for any peak hour charging.--- end of revision ---***ATTENTION*** ***ATTENTION***This spot charges for parking. Rate is $1.50 for every 15 minutes. And the entrance is on the Main St. side. Now that there is no misunderstanding like some reviewers have mentioned below, let's talk about this Supercharging location.$0.23 per kWh, 24 total stalls, and older 72kW max chargers. With current peak rate of $0.58 per kWh in majority of Superchargers in Southern California, this location makes for a GREAT place to charge if you are charging more than half of your range. By calculation, if I am charging my M3SR+ from 15% to 90%, approximately 48kW would be charged in about 40 minutes. This means, if I am to charge at this specific location, my charging fee would be about $11.04 + $4.50 in parking... which makes a total of $15.54 However, it would make no sense to come to this lot during off peak (9PM - 11AM) exactly because of the parking fees associated with this location. If I were to charge the same amount at a different location nearby during peak hours, my charging fee would amount to $27.84What does it all mean? Do some number crunching and you can save some money! ?However, if you want faster charging, this location ain't it. Go to a nearby location for that purpose.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY TO PARK FOR CHARGING. We needed to top up a rental Tesla before returning it at SNA, and almost skipped this location because all the reviews said you have to pay to park. However the "free parking" location on Michelson was a mob scene so decided to try this one instead. Their chargers are conveniently located just inside the entrance to the garage, and there was plenty of availability. The best part is they give you 45 free minutes for charging - just select "Tesla Validation" at the entry gate (or if you forget to do that like I did you can go by the parking office and get your ticket validated manually). If you stay longer then you only pay for the time spent over 45 mins. We were in and out in about 20 mins and then it's an easy half mile drive to the airport - very convenient.

Con: parking fees, I paid $3 for 28 mins (big L, deal breaker, unless desperate or if you do the math with the kw/hr and it ends up cheaper than a free lot with a higher rate)Pros: Covered, 1st floor on right, clear signs, lots of spots open on a Sunday 3:30pm (since it’s paid), actually got 72kw charging for a bit, Sol cocina restaurant right next door is solid, coffee shop nearby.Would be a solid choice in the area if it wasn’t paid : /

Not my favorite location. Have to pay to exit parking structure. It’s next to the Sol Mexican Restaurant’s valet. It’s on the first floor.
