Our business taxes were handled by a smaller firm for many years. A few years ago that firm was acquired by a much larger one. We saw the quality of our service suffer a bit while our invoices grew. We felt like we had become a number. This inspired us to research other options, which led us to Tehrani & Velez, LLP. We have a complex tax situation. Since we made the decision to take our business to T&V, our tax situation has been well under control. They have taken the time to understand the nuances of our specific situation and we have formed a positive relationship. We view T&V as a partner and we are confident in the advice they give us. So glad to have been referred to Gabriel Velez. My husband and I run three businesses and have several kids. We were looking for a new CPA. Gabriel is like a breath of fresh air. We get very timely responses to our emails and calls which is hard to find in a CPA. He and his team are very knowledgeable and made sure we weren't missing anything during our tax preparation. I have used this firm's services every time I need to sort out my taxes and for the bookkeeping of my company. The services offered were very reasonably priced for the level of skill and expertise they have. I just completed my personal and business returns with Bobback. He and his team did a thorough job of scrubbing my P&L and my payroll tax. They were always available by email or phone with any of my questions and I liked using their Calendly to set up more time to discuss minute details of my profit and loss statement. He also helped me claim a refund through the ERC program, which I hesitated to look into initially, but I'm glad I consulted with him.

We have been using this company for a few years and the professional service isn't there anymore. They have been submitting wrong forms to the IRS and we are constantly receiving letters from IRS and FTB that taxes were not filed properly. This creates a lot of extra fees and penalties that could have been avoided but again the professional service you pay for is not there. The list of errors is getting LONG and that explains why many accountants don't work with the firm anymore. In this chaotic world it would be nice to count on your accountant to do it right but we're tired of baby sitting. Two stars for Gabe but I wouldn't recommend them.

Love this CPA firm! Their team is so efficient and knowledgeable! They are easy to reach and keep you updated throughout the year on new legal laws and dates. During 2020 things were very up and down, this firm kept us updated and in the know! We appreciate you so much!
