Im only going to speak on the kickboxing classes. I havent tried their sparring or grappling classes but This isnt your normal cardio class where you hit the bag a few times and go home. they will empty your tank, you will be fatigued and you will be punching and kicking the bag until your arms and legs fall off, your clothes will be drench with sweat every session. The sessions were amazing, They would empty my tank on the bag with a combination like a 1-2 or a specific kick over and over and we would move right back into pad work and back onto bags, completely working the whole body and mind. I’ve trained at multiple MMA gyms and I can confidently say these kickboxing classes are not for hobbyist, they will train you like you’re a professional kickboxer and striker going into a fight. I cant speak highly enough of how tough, rigorous, and intense the pad work and bag work here for the kixkboxing classes is.

Best massage by Terri. She is professional, educational, funny & personable. She listens to what you say & fixes the problems. Best ever. I traveled from Washington to see her again

Great vibe, friendly people. Mix of high level people to casual to beginners. All sorts of classes available, MMA, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Wrestling, BJJ.Only reason it's not 5/5:No change rooms or water fountain. They sell bottles of water at the front. Can get changed in the washroom.Did a class with coach Gabriel on Friday evening cardio kickboxing class.

I love the facilities, and the professionalism of everyone there. Brock, Thais, Elias, and the rest of the teachers have great attitude, and I learn something new each time I go.

Had an amazing time at their no GI practice. Everyone from the front desk, to coach Mico, and students were super friendly. Highly recommend.

Well-rounded gym with talented coaches and awesome facility! When I first joined the gym, Brock Dias was working, and he was very welcoming and gave me a rundown of the gym policy. He's also a collegiate wrestler that teaches a really great, beginner-friendly wrestling class. Also, I checked out the cardio kickboxing and No Gi Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes. All the instructors were super fun, knowledgeable, and welcoming.I've been to multiple gyms in Orange County and other parts of California. Team Oyama is by far my favorite gym. I would highly recommend this gym for anyone - beginner or advanced.

Probably the best MMA gym/academy I've been to. Even though I'm no longer a member (I moved from OC to LA) , I don't think you'll find this kind of training in the LA or OC area anywhere else (at least the gyms I've been to). First off, the trainers and front desk attendants are awesome. They really make you feel welcome and part of the team. Secondly, the training is great all around. And you will actually train with the fighters in some of the classes. Most gyms I've seen only have their pro team come in during their pro training schedule--which they do here, but they also come in at night and train with you as well. Third, the gym is huge, the only other gym I've seen like this would probably be CSA up in NorCal. And lastly, the pricing (at least from when I was there) was much better than most gyms. Granted this was pre-covid-- not sure if prices have gone up since then. But overall great gym, I'd join again if I ever move back to OC.

Dropped in for the 6pm wrestling class on Friday, geared toward beginners so perfect for a bjj guy like me . Instruction was really simple and clean, drilled the classic double leg and then sweep singles and two different ways to finish. Then spent time on the get-up/sit-up position from neutral when they have your back. I received a lot of 1on1 feedback and pointers and would love to come back again next time I'm down in OC.

This MMA community has transformed my sense of direction and confidence. Good vibes from my classmates, super supportive coaches, and the best thing that’s come into my life. Will definitely be staying here for the long term!It makes me emotional to write this because truly I feel so grateful and blessed for all Team Oyama has done for me.

I contacted Team Oyama yesterday (July 20, 2021) and requested an appointment to visit the gym. I was told by the general manager Marcella that they had 2 members that had tested positive for Covid-19 and would not be able to allow any visitors this week. Marcella gave me her email address to arrange a visit for the following week which seem reasonable. I was really looking forward to re-joining a martial art dojo. However, in her email, she said the gym required a $25 fee for the first class. I emailed back stating I was somewhat mystified as almost ALL gyms will let you try a class to test out the atmosphere, coaches, and class sizes etc. before asking you to join. Marcella emailed stating (and I quote) "We don't offer a free trial." WOW! So we are supposed to fork over upwards of $189/month for a year or $275 month to month with no cancellation and no chance to even know what the gym is like? That's ok Marcella...good luck with that business model post Covid and hope those that are reading this will be warned.

Super friendly, coaches pay attention to everyone and encourage you to go at your own pace when needed and push when there's more to get out of you.
