The Target at Irvine Spectrum Mall has a significant inconvenience that occurs about an hour before closing. This store has two entrances/exits: one that takes you back into the shopping mall and another that leads to the parking lot.
About an hour before closing, they shut down the self-checkout area that allows you to return to the mall. This forces you to use the self-checkout or attended checkouts on the parking lot side. As a result, you have to walk through the parking lot and around the building to get back into the mall.
It would be much more convenient if the mall-side self-checkouts remained open until closing time to avoid this unnecessary hassle.

4/21/24 Security here is pretty rude. Went up to a security guard (white guy with blonde hair) and asked him a simple question and he was a total duck and just shrugged and walked away

Very organized Target store. The employees are friendly. Good selections and no long waits on checkouts even it is a very busy branch.

I came in search of a gift and found everything quick! They have self checkout registers for 10 items and less. I was in and out in 15 minutes. Bathrooms were nice and clean.

This old hag forced me to get out of my wheelchair because she didn't believe I was disabled. I will never come back again. Employees need proper disability training before they are hired. This was unacceptable.

When me and my friends were browsing the sports section, they kicked us out of the store for no reason at all other than we were, “hanging out” even though we were there to buy something.

Do not apply to work at this location working the 4am shift. The staff don't train and are rude. Stay away from Ruben he is the Inbound lead and he is really unprofessional
