Today is July 6th. On July 1st my credit card was charged once. On July 2nd my credit card was charged 2 more times for July rent. On July 3rd only ONE overcharge was reversed. I called on July 5th and was laughingly told “Trust me, it’ll be fixed” by Assistant Manager Evan. Called corporate. Couldn’t talk to anyone, had to leave a message for “ Noemi”. Call has not been returned as of July 6th, nor has the erroneous charge been reversed. These people have no idea what customer service is and appear to be nothing but ripoff artists. Save yourself some aggravation and STAY AWAY from STORAMERICA, especially Sea Cliff in Huntington Beach!

I contacted a superviser MICHELLE to tell her about a problem at Huntington Beach Seacliff self storage the maneger at Seacliff Dylan had been telling manegement I was working on my truck which I asked this maneger and was given a ok. Come to find out he was lieing and MICHELLE at stir America would not listen to my complaint she stated because I was working on my truck that I would not be composited for my loss due to her staff I asked her for her last name and she refused DONT RENT HERE OR DO ANYTHING WITH MICHELL she's disrespectful and will not help you no matter what disrespectful and rude

Horrible experience. I reserved a unit on line. When I arrived at the place, I asked do you have a elevator. I was told yes. I pay for everything and when I go to the unit the elevator is out of order. I said this is no good give me my money back. The clerk said there are no refunds. I said I am 63 years old I can't carry boxes upstairs.The clerk said it (elevator) should be fixed in a day or two. I rented the unit today because I need it today.The only customer service is online email or a voice mail that's full.Horrible experience

My review is specific to StorAmerica's storage facility in Rancho Santa Margarita, Plano Self Storage. I stored my travel trailer here for 1.5 years. Facility is fine and checks all the boxes - it is clean enough, secure, has a dump station, etc. The reason for the two star review is that I feel like they've tried to gauge me on price. In my 1.5 years of renting here, they've raised prices twice for a total price increase of 28%, which is above normal price inflation. I notified them that i'd like to move out on June 5, a few days after my account had been auto-debited for June rent. I asked if they would refund the prorated amount of June's rent and they were unwilling to do so, which was disappointing and not in line with my experience at other facilities. What was even more disappointing was that they still wanted to process my move out, which i believe is so that they could fill the space with a new renter. With the current state of RV storage space in Orange County, they could easily fill this RV space in under a week, meaning they would essentially be getting my full rent for the month of June and another renter's payment for June. So Plano Self Storage gets paid double the rent in June for a single RV space while i'm left a few hundred dollars out of pocket for an RV space I no longer need and cannot use... Wish they would do the right thing in processing my move out. Particularly after they've been aggressive in raising prices.

Was a customer at the powhattan stor American in Apple Valley... Anthony was a mgr there.. was very rude and nasty.. everytime I came to my storage I felt totally uncomfortable.. he would make it his business to get on his golf cart and constantly circle around my unit to see what I was doing.. and to make small talk.. being that I'm a woman in a secluded area.. I felt my personal space being invaded which made me feel very unsettling and uncomfortable.. There was another time that I had come in to pay my bill he refused to give me my gate code.. had to actually call corporate to get him to give to me... he's never in the office when you arrive.. always have to call continuously and wait until he comes back from his 2-3 hr breaks and or lunches... I have had storages with another location in Apple Valley and they were very pleasant and helpful... I would never recommend going to the powhattan Stor America unless u want to be harrassed and felt like you're leaving your belongings in the hands of Norman Bates...

My sister died October 1. It has been 5 months we have submitted three death certificates and notarized paperwork. Police released the storage and we still can't get access after during and submitted everything we are still trying to get access to my sisters storage. We were told yesterday by Jacob the manager in Victorville he will not give us the corporate number and he will call my aunt back. My mom lives in GA she is 8? plus years. My aunt is over 7? and she lives in Victorville. Can you tell me what else do we need to do? Why is your Victorville office so rude and difficult.

Very sisapoitmented with this place. We got here ar 5:30 thinking we have plenty of time to unload. We got locked in and ignored by office pperson. Very rude and disrespectful on there part. Didmt have any number posted in ca for help. I called police for help and was fold by office person she couldn't open the gate. Another car shoed up passed 6:30 and his code wofked find. Dont know what to think. Lack of costemer service. Paying $260 a month for this type of tfeatment. Nice place one star.

Went to get some of my out of my storage and it was pitch dark. None of the lighting in my units side of the second floor worked. I ended up damaging my dining room table when it fell off of the cart and hit the doorway. Currently trying to get the management to step up and repair the damages.

They are claiming Google is wrong in identifying this Management company and won't help me with threats of selling my property in Long Beach due to incorrect Management of Billing! Sucky people more than 20 complaints do not store your your items at Stor it, anywhere!

I can't speak for all Stor-America locations but the one on Powhatan Court in Apple Valley California is the most crooked of any I've ever seen. Maria made a fraudulent charge to my debit card in the amount of $293.79 and kept $50.00 cash under false pretenses. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE PRIOR AUTHORIZATION TO PAY BY CARD AS SHE WILL USE IT TO CHARGE YOU UNDER FALSE PRETENSES. SAVE YOURSELF ALOT OF MONEY AND DON'T USE THIS FACILITY. IF I COULD HAVE GIVEN THEM NO STARS - I WOULD HAVE.

I have doing business with this company for years. Easy to work with, very professional. With more than 60 plus sites the company it's actually well organized. I would recommend if you are in need of storage on a business level this is place to go to. Overall 5 star all the way!
