SpearAmerica has been nothing short of a professionally run, customer oriented, and state of the art stocked business. I live hundreds of miles from any of their stores and their team has always assisted me with specs and purchases. Elizabeth has been helpful on several occasions - her kindness, expertise, and willingness to get me the right gear for my travels are second to none. She is a godsend. They have a lifelong customer bc of their service, professionalism, and the wide variety of top gear.

I came to SpearAmerica to buy some top shelf spear specific gear, get beta on locations and discuss Spearfishing generally since I m pretty new at it.
Everyone there was super helpful, knowledgeable and kind.
I couldn’t be happier with this place. I’ll definitely be back!!!!!

I went in today with my family to get new gear and loved my experience. Christina and Elizabeth helped us and were absolutely wonderful! They are both very intelligent in the field and taught us so much. They helped us rig our fins, try on new suits and answered all of our questions. Christina and Elizabeth are so kind and made our experience great!

Hands-down the best source to go to for spearfishing gear and knowledge. Whether you are just starting out or looking to upgrade your gear, these guys will know what you need. I've been coming here for my gear for the last 3 or so years and both Petros (the owner) and the staff are incredible. Everybody is super down to earth, but also knowledgeable. In other words, you know when you walk into a specialized store, and you don't really know what you're looking for, and the people there treat you like a moron? THAT WON'T HAPPEN HERE lol On the other hand, if you are already super knowledgeable, this is still the place you want to go to for gear. You won't find anyone here that doesn't know what they are talking about and their products are geared specifically toward spearfishing. Every once in a while, you might walk into a dive shop (usually geared toward scuba diving) and the people there either don't know what they are talking about in regard to spearfishing/freediving, or they'll try to upsell you on something that you know isn't worth what they're asking for. Again, that won't happen here. Several times, I've been sold on something that was cheaper than the product I was considering, because the staff is honest and genuinely wants you to get what you're looking for. Great place.

I am quite disappointed with the level of customer service at Spear America from which I recently purchased a $500 wet suit. Upon checking it out at home , I discovered an unfortunate tear inside , an issue which I promptly brought to the attention of the management 2 days later. However, to my surprise and dismay, I was met with rudeness and an unprofessional demeanor. Despite several attempts to negotiate an exchange, my concerns were not taken seriously and no resolution was provided. Regrettably, this experience has left me with no choice but to voice my dissatisfaction and express my lack of confidence in this particular establishment Avoid buying anything from them at all cost!!!!! there will be no exchanges even though they state you can make a return or exchange on the policy on their website,if you experience an issue with what you purchase they will downright argue and blame whatever the issue is on youEdit: I would like to add I did happen to record the incident where a simple request turned into aggression towards me I will try to upload on here or it can be available upon anyone's request*What is illegal is to state something on your website that is a lie you dont honor it and get aggressive For a simple request and what is also illegal is trying to intimidate a customer

SpearAmerica is my go to shop for spearfishing and diving. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and their inventory is unbeatable. When I first started, they acted as mentors and now they are great friends. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for quality products and unbeatable prices.

SpearAmerica has always been top notch in service and products. Would have never been able to progress in the sport without Petros' products and more importantly guidance. I recommend SA to everyone in our sport but especially those new to the sport as you will be taken care of with the care and trustworthiness needed.

Ever since Petros opened this shop 8-9 years ago, I have had all of my freediving and spearfishing needs taken care of. My personal best fish taken by spear, which weighed over 200 lbs, was from gear that was rigged in this shop. After reading about the whiney Karen who gave a one star review for bad customer service, I know that this is just not true(why don't you and your boyfriend cut your finger and toe nails before you try on wetsuits, instead of complaining about gashes in the neoprene that they caused after buying the wetsuits?). I once bought a bungee that had a small tear in it and Petros replaced it with a new one. They have always been accomodating for every little setback.

Very good customer service, I couldn't get a part from pathos and Elizabeth was more than willing to help me get the replacement part. I dont know if it was a part off the shelf or if they took it off one of their guns but she saved my life with my pathos gun. Keep in mind I'm in hawaii and she was able to get me everything I wanted and exactly how I wanted it. She was more than will to do what ever she had to do to make me happy. I am very satisfied with the spearguns she set me up with and the cost was very reasonable. I will be buying all my diving needs from spear America.

Just rented from these guys this weekend and there was actually a mixup with one piece of gear and I got to where I was going and realized they hadn’t given it to me which kind of threw a wrench in the plans. However, when I showed back up the next day they were super awesome. Super helpful, gave me a full refund on everything without me even having to ask!Definitely would rent from these guys again just based on my two interactions with the staff and how helpful they were!
