So glad I went to Smart & Final for 4th of July food items and party items for my son’s bday. They have a wide variety of items! Bulk size items that I needed and I didn’t have to wait in a long line either! Definitely recommend shopping at Smart & Final for parties! Very quick lines and friendly staff!!

I went to the store today 20 minutes before store closing. The blonde lady having short hair stared like i did crime by coming in store, then I pick bananas she asked are you done I said no, the same moment I put bananas back and go ahead towards the gate now she asked again what happened to bananas. I said I am not taking anything she again staring as well as giving bad looks. Never gonna back there

NICE STORE ! My wife and I popped in here a few days ago to pick up some active yeast ( to make pizza dough and bread dough ). GOOD DEAL ! We saw that Gatorade was going for a buck each so we bought three. Friendly service at the checkout !

This is the 2nd time I purchased a gallon of fresh milk (store brand) and it comes out EXPIRED not on the date but the smell. I boiled the milk to be sure it is expired and it was. Since it was not expired on date, I think there should be something wrong with their freezer or the way they store them. I'm gonna stop purchasing fresh milk from this location.

This Smart And Final is a bit smaller than most, but generally have a pretty good selection of most of the thing should we go to Smart And Final to obtain particularly bulk items, and things that you would like to have a larger size to keep around. They always seem to be a bit understaffed with regard to check out, but they keep the store clean and fairly well stock so I guess that is really the best you can ask for.

Went in to purchase something and was given wrong information by a blonde lady, short hair and wearing black gloves. Normally, I understand that she was busy, but she wasted my lunch break. I will not be returning and will be recommending my friends go elsewhere to purchase.

The Mexican man in produce was very rude when I asked him if they had more organic kale. Then I asked the Mexican girl in produce if they had more organic kale and she was very rude and said it will be at least an hour before she could look. All the good workers left California

I used to shop here frequently, but as the years have gone by I find myself with mixed emotions about this place. The parking is terrible, people think they own the road and drive reckless all over the place. But that's not my main concern, my issue is with the female cashiers, because most of the time it's harmless where a cashier will make insensitive comments. It may not sound bad at the time, but certain things just felt like they were mean spirited. Now the male cashiers are great, absolutely phenomenal. But the females are pretty rude when it comes to common sense. I've witnessed a woman (cashier) complain that someone was using food stamps, and she didn't offer the customer bags. I've seen a woman claim that a man was old because he had gray hair. The older woman (who works afternoons) was extremely rude to a customer, I overheard her saying she was apparently the expert on working the cash register and told him not to talk to another cashier. That wouldn't fly at my job, you don't tell a customer they can't talk to anyone, and her claim she was an expert on that cash register made her look dumb because when he paid she had to press a few buttons before the transaction was completed. This was a complete neglect on the other cashier, because she pretended not to pay attention to the customer. I don't know if it was fear of the other cashier, but it was overall a boneheaded thing to do where a bad situation could be diffused. I put my items back in the shopping cart and chose a different line to wait in. She saw me, gave me a mean look, but that's why I don't shop here often. The only times I shop here is when that lady is gone, and I prefer to shop here when the men work as cashiers. They're just better workers, who want to make sure all the customers are happy. Plus that cashier is simply rude, I refuse to support her. I'd rather shop elsewhere for my items, and unfortunately it's why I rarely shop here.

Some items are well priced, with a few specialized items. Definitely not keen on any of their 1st Street cakes which taste awful with a more chemical taste.

No bagging service unless you buy bags. And no attempt to help customer place heavy water and beverage boxes in the cart after paying. This is worse that food4less. No service but high prices still. If you have heavy stuff, just have it deliver. You actually pay less. Of course the downside is the effect on the environment. But when grocery store service is bad and still charging top dollars - what else can be done?

Cell phone dependency for digital coupons makes them completely useless to me. I do not have a cell phone so then I can never use them. At least your ad is online for the few times I care to travel so far. I do wish you could take over the grocery outlet next to the AMC theater on Barranca.
