09/06/24: James Simpson (Service Manager) provided excellent service. I had my C8 service last year and James assisted me then too. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt with the service he provides. I was glad to get James as my service coordinator. On my next visit I will be sure to I ask for James.

I had he hardest time with different dealerships in the OC, IE, and even LA when I was trying to find the truck I wanted for a price that made sense. I couldn’t believe how hard it was just to buy a truck that was not over priced. This all changed with Simpson Chevrolet.
I started talking to Drake the online Mgr who never gave up trying to find the deal I wanted with different trucks and even when I kept telling him no I didn’t like that truck, etc. Drake remained in contact with me but never was pushy or salesman like, gave me the offer I was looking for, and set it up when I was ready to go inside the dealership, so Thank You Drake!
Once I got to Simpson Chevrolet I was greeted by Brainy who continued the deal that Drake set up, then to Anthony who helped find my price point and payment. They both never tried to oversell anything, gave me options, and then ultimately let me chose what I wanted. Brainy was such a nice guy and he was easy to talk to during the process.
My last stop was with Leo in finance who again made me so comfortable during the deal signing it was as if I was meant to be at this dealership.
Everyone made this incredibly difficult process so simple and streamlined. My truck was super clean and with a full tank of gas. I am already so in love with this truck ❤️
The cherry on top was that I got to choose a organization that the dealership donated to which was Gigi’s Playhouse. I love and appreciate when companies give back to the community!
I will always recommend Simpson Chevrolet and will buy from them again when the time is due. THANK YOU for respecting my time, you all are awesome!

Sign and drive had a great experience with Simpson Chevrolet when purchasing my new 2024 Colorado. I couldn't be happier with the small amount of time that I had to spend in financing. Once the price was negotiated, it was just over an hour until we were on the road. Out in 60 min. That's the way to buy a car.

Very helpful fixing my car. Couldn’t believe it was still under warranty. They offered complimentary rides which was nice. Felt good leaving my car there and the pick up process was very easy.

Unprofessional and inexperienced technicians. Sent car to get a diagnosis on why it would not hold a steady idle and want to die. Car has a stock engine, stock supercharger, no modifications other than an air intake and a rear muffler. Car was towed in, was probably at the dealership for 1-2 hours after which I got a call telling me "the issue is the car is too modified and the stock tune can't compensate. You need to go to a speed shop for a custom tune for it to work. The supercharger has a smaller pulley and is pushing too much air. We can't fix it so you will need to get the car towed out, if possible today. I would suggest getting a hot smog and registering the car out of state, for example Montana". I live in California where we adhere to smog laws and have had my car legally smogged for the past couple years of ownership without an issue in the same condition it was going into the dealership. I do not want to go against the law, I wanted my car fixed or at least diagnosed. I was charged $275 for who knows what, maybe just opening up the engine bay to see a new supercharger pulley, that was the same size as a stock pulley, as the supercharger had just been rebuilt due to a main bearing failure. Technicians took one look, made an assumption and wanted my car on its way. Took my car to a reputable shop, literally diagnosed the car within the hour. Supercharger was missing a seal to the valley cover and would not hold vacuum. This was a simple diagnosis from this shop as they could see the actuator closing at idle, so took a vacuum gauge, tested it, validated with a smoke test and solved the issue with a simple replacement seal and sent me on my way with a working vehicle. I will never go back to Simpson Chevrolet as they do not go the whole way to diagnose a vehicle and still have the arrogance to charge a customer for no work being completed.

**Disappointing Experience - Overcharged for Unnecessary Labor**
I had a very frustrating experience with this dealership's service department. I brought my car in for what should have been a simple repair, but ended up being charged an outrageous amount for labor and unnecessary work. They recommended additional services that were not needed and made it seem like they were essential to my vehicle’s functioning.
On top of that, the labor charges were inflated. I know what typical labor costs are, and this was way beyond reasonable. It felt like they were taking advantage of customers who aren’t as familiar with car repairs.
If you're planning on using this dealership's service center, be prepared for them to overcharge and suggest extra work that your car likely doesn’t need. I would advise going elsewhere for honest service and transparent pricing. Very disappointing!

Absolutely excellent. Both Randy and Tyler are awesome. Honest and professional service getting us the car we wanted ASAP. I can't say enough good things about both of them. Will be back and already telling others.

I though that buying a new truck was going to be easy. I contacted Simpson Chevrolet in Irvine through email about buying a brand new Silverado. in order to get to talk to someone you have to provide a name and phone number almost immediately a phone call... I did not answer. I have found having everything in writing is the best way to deal with car dealers. long story short. they sent me a break down on a basic truck and I explained that I was looking for something a little better that this, they sent me a link to their site and said take a look and let me know if anything catches your eye.
I found a truck that I liked and text them the stock number. They responded back via text the truck is still in stock and would I like to come down and see it. I text back what is my price out the door they gave me a price of," Roughly $47338.50." the next morning I received a text from them Asking if the price would work for me. later they responded, they would love to help me with this truck. later that night I text them. I would take the truck what time are you working Drake? he text back 9am-4pm. I text I'll see you at 1:30pm. He asked for info on me so he could get paperwork started so when we arrive it wouldn't take very long ,and I provided him with it. he text me the he pulled the truck up front and it was ready for us. When I arrived it wasn't even close to the truck we discussed via text. I should him the stock number he quoted it took him 30 min to find the truck and it was missing several of the items listed in the add. its like oh I need this for another sale , I'll just take it from this truck. After he said he'd replace all the missing items, the price of the truck jumped up to $53000. I had everything in writing and they tried to blame someone else for the quote mistake who conveniently wasn't there
In a nut shell do not buy from this dealer ship I've been buying Silverados for 30+ years and this is the first Chevy dealer that literally sent me a price in writing and then refused to honor it! No integrity at all. Buyer Beware!
